Introduction

Heyyy, I am Riveen (or Geekypoet, whichever you prefer). The tumblr blog is an extension of my personal blog where I post more of my main stuff at. This will be my mini-blog. My activity would be very irregular, so, sorry in advance.

I am interested in literature and astronomy alike, so nerdy in two ways. I will be yapping about the most random things here (sorry, not sorry). This would include random thoughts, WIP updates, short writings, and book/ movie reviews. As much as I love to share, I would love to see what you write or geek out about.

I write more poetry than prose, but I also love to write short stories. My stories tend to have Sri Lankan characters because that is where I am from. My completed works are at my blog. I'll have a small intro of my WIPs down below:

The Sobbing Stranger: This is a story that discusses suicidal feelings in three people who meet at a bus stop.

Catching Apples: This is a story of four friends who navigate through their final years at school and some complex dynamics within themselves.
