I already have the personalities, Tanzanite: she has a good self-esteem but is prone to get sad, P.r.m: very dedicated, funny and very elegant. thanks for the help💜😁
No problem! And here’s a few weapon ideas if you still want some:
Tanzanite’s personality is proving difficult to translate into a weapon, but with her good self esteem maybe something armour-based to protect herself? Not necessarily because she’s selfish or vain, but because the armour supports her to stay unharmed and that way can make her more confident in battle.
P.r.m: Elegant and dedicated makes me think of a weapon like Pearl’s, so maybe something similar to hers? Also, especially if she’s high class or fashionable, you could give her clothing related, like:
The stiletto dagger: has a pair of high heels named after it.
Kanzashi: the umbrella term (I can’t find the specific kind that is used as a weapon) for hair decorations which in some cases act as a concealed weapon worn in the hair.
Hairstick: Similar reasons to the kanzashi, it is a stick you use to secure hair in a certain style. Sometimes it is for purely decorative purposes, but it can and has doubled as a weapon.
Thank you for visiting! :)

I think Tumblr are my ask, but what would be a good fusion for a dogtooth amethyst, a pink tourmaline, and a peridot?
I don’t think I got any other asks like this, so it probably did :(
And sorry there’s only one, I’m a little tired and there’s not many rocks with a fitting colour scheme.
But anyway! I think a good option for Dogtooth Amethyst, Pink Tourmaline, and Peridot’s fusion could be:
Watermelon Tourmaline: As the name suggests, it’s a bi-colour (specifically green-pink) variety of tourmaline. The two tone separation on Dogtooth Amethyst could pass on to the fusion and split up Pink Tourmaline’s pink and Peridot’s green. Watermelon tourmaline occasionally has white banding, which could come from Dogtooth Amethyst.
Thanks for asking, and if you need any more help, feel free to ask again!

Moonstone X Citrine, and Covellite X Citrine?
Hello! For Moonstone and Citrine, I’d suggest:
Aventurine: Moonstone’s luster is called adularescence, and it’s similar to aventurine’s, which is aventurescence. The blue from Moonstone and the yellow from Citrine would make the green. Citrine and aventurine are both types of quartz that are said to be associated with fortune and luck.
Green cat’s eye: Has a similar lustre to moonstone, and the green would be a combination of Citrine and Moonstone’s colours.
And I’m sorry this one isn’t as good as the other, but I can’t really find anything that looks like a combination of Covellite and Citrine. I hope this is still ok:
Pyrite: a yellow gemstone with a metallic lustre, which is often found with covellite. The yellow could come from Citrine.
Thank you for asking, and if you need more help, feel free to ask again!

What kind of gem would a Lapis Pearl and a Black Lapis make if they fused? And what might their weapon be if Black Lapis used hydrokinesis, and Lapis Pearl used rapier? You don't need to answer if you don't want to, but thanks either way :P
Hi! Thanks for the ask :)
I had some trouble with this, because I’m not really sure what these gemstones look like, but assuming lapis pearl is a blue pearl with similar colouration to lapis lazuli (like the Swarovski pearl, right?), and that black lapis is a dark-coloured lapis lazuli, I’d suggest:
Azurite: The bands are a little out of nowhere, but I think the colour fits quite well considering the range of blues. (Also, just a note, I see people confuse azurite and azurite-malachite a lot, so make sure you’re got the right one: azurite displays no green , but azurite-malachite is -as the name suggests- azurite mixed with malachite, and has green and blue splotches.)
Lazurite: A major constituent of lapis lazuli, and it’s a similar blue to what I think the fusion would make.
For their weapon, I’d suggest maybe incorporating water or blades of ice onto the rapier?
The etymology of “rapier” references that the hilt looks like a rasp or grater, so maybe you could make a sort of file with ice spikes?
You could also take the Malachite approach and just dual “wield” the water and sword, or the Garnet approach and alter a weapon slightly so it’s more personalised, like making the rapier’s blade out of ice.
If you need any more help, feel free to ask!

I need help , pink rainbow moonstone x tanzanite, weapons?
Hello! Assuming this is pink rainbow moonstone, then for their fusion with a Tanzanite I’d suggest:
Purple Labradorite: the schiller (a luster common to feldspars) on pink rainbow moonstone and labradorite are similar, and the colours on purple labradorite look like a combination of P.R.M and tanzanite.
Winza Sapphire: The pink is reminiscent of P.R.M and the bluish purple could come from tanzanite. (Plus, Tanzanite is named after and found only in Tanzania, and Winza sapphire is named after the mining location Winza, which is in Tanzania.)
For their weapons I’d most likely need their personalities, but I can give you ideas based on something else if you request it.
Thank you for asking, and if you need more help feel free to ask again!

Fusion between a dogtooth amethyst and a peridot? Preferably something that's both purple and green?
Hmm, out of the minerals I know there’s very few that are both purple and green, and out of those not a lot match this pair very well, but here’s what I think the two best options are:
Purple & Green Fluorite: transparent/lucent like dogtooth amethyst and peridots, and can have bands that are similar to dogtooth amethyst.
Green (or Purple) Ammolite: This one shows bits of blue, but also has lots of green and purple. It has banding, but doesn’t quite match with dogtooth amethyst. Definitely the weaker option of the two, but still worth considering.
If neither of those work, the first thing that comes to my mind when I think “purple and green gemstone” is atlantisite. But I suggest choosing one of the other two as I don’t think the dots and colours quite match up very well to the gems fusing.
Thanks for asking and if you never need any more help feel free to inquire!

Hey, I'm a new follower! Just wondering if you had any color pallets or drawings (if you're comfortable with drawing not a problem if you don't want to) for angel aura quartz. Preferably an orange or pinkish orange tinted kind. Thank ya!!!
Hi! I can definitely make colour palettes, but I’m not entirely sure what you mean by drawings.
Right now I’m on my iPad, but I’ll post this now and add the palettes in later on my computer.  Here they are! I had a bit of trouble getting the oranges/pinks because surprisingly Angel Aura doesn’t have that many, but I hope this is what you’re looking for!

Thanks for asking, and if you need more help, or want me to re-do the palettes, feel free to ask!

I need help with a good gem weapon for a Moonstone. Any ideas?
Sure! You didn’t specify a personality, so I’ll go by something else. (Also, I can't format my asks like I usually do because I'm on my iPad, sorry about that)
Weapons that look like the moon:
Scythe: it resembles a crescent moon, but I’ve heard this weapon is a little overused for Moonstones.
Buckler: a small shield that is worn on the forearm or hand. I would suggest making it look like the moon.
Chakram: it can come in a few shapes, and a few of them look like different stages of the moon.
If you’d like different suggestions, it would help to have something like a personality or theme to go by, but thank you for asking!

Hiya again! what do you think a Red Coral and a Coral Pearl would make??
Hello! Hmm, if you wanted a fusion that keeps “Coral” in the name, I’d suggest:
Angel Skin Coral: a salmon/peach coloured coral.
But if you want one that doesn’t, I’d suggest:
Red Amber: it’s red(dish) and organic like both of them. (It isn’t made in water, but it is hardened resin, so it was once a liquid, which I feel is kinda close)
Thanks for asking, and if you need more help, feel free to ask for more!

I need help finding a gem for a fusion! Chrysoprase + Kunzite? Thank you in advance!
No problem! I’d suggest:
Hiddenite: chrysoprase is green (but also has some brown in it) and kunzite is a spodumene. Hiddenite is green spodumene.
Common Pink Opal: the pink could come from Kunzite, and it has a few brown streaks which could come from Chrysoprase.
Sorry I can only think of two gems for the fusion, but I hope I still helped.
Feel free to ask for more help if you need it!

Hiiii! I'm struggling to find much about agates so I have to resort to asking this but, what are all the agates (can you maybe describe them by colour next to name) and are there are that are associated with (darkness, death, shadows or the night sky),(good, justice, heroes,), (evil, chaos, fire) and (nature, life, animals,)
Hi, I'm sorry this took so long! (I’ve been kinda busy!)
I can give you a list of some agates, but unfortunately a full list of every agate would be too long to make. Speaking of, this gets very lengthy, so I’ll put a read more here:
First, for the agates specifically pertaining to the traits you asked for, I’d suggest:
Darkness/death/shadows/night sky:                                                                      (I can't find anything for the night sky specifically)
Shadow Agate (Grey/white with shadow-like effects when moved around)
Black Agate (black with occasional white bands)
Good/justice/heroes:
Botswana Agate (Dark/light grey with pink/salmon. It is said to support love, comfort those who are mourning/lonely/hurt, etc., and encourage finding solutions instead of getting stuck on difficulty)
Eye Agate (a type of Botswana agate that looks like and is cut into the shape of an eye. It is said to ward off the "evil eye".)
Evil/chaos/fire:
Fire Agate (rainbow with black around it, and a bubble-like pattern)
Lava Fountain Agate (black, white, and red. I imagine a "lava fountain" would be quite chaotic.)
Plume Agate (greyish-lavender, orange-red, and pale yellow. It's named for it's pattern that resemble plumes of ash from a recently erupted volcano.)
Crazy Lace Agate (known and named for it's chaotic and messy banding. It can have quite a few colours, but is usually red, orange, and white.
Nature/life/animals:
Snakeskin Agate (I'm not sure what it's full colour potential is, but it seems to be commonly pale yellow and tan or red and orange. It's named for it's cracked surface resembling snakeskin.)
Moss Agate (a white dendritic agate with green bands that looks like moss, also called "tree agate")
Turitella Agate (more accurately "elimia agate", fossils of the sea snail "elimia tenera" found in chalcedony are called this. It is usually brown or black, and has a unique pattern due to the fossils.)
Condor Agate (a very colourful agate that shares it's name with the condor bird, but I'm not sure if it's named after it or not.)
A list of agates in general (previously mentioned and colour-named ones like "grey agate" or "red agate" are left out):
Laguna Agate (an orange/red/purplish agate originally described from Ojo Laguna, Mexico)
Enhydro Agate (a generally white/grey agate that has water trapped inside it which will move around when you move the agate)
Blue Lace Agate (a pale blue/lilac agate)
Holl(e)y Blue Agate (lavender/blue/pink agate only found in Holley, Oregon)
Fortification Agate (an agate with bands that look like the outlines of a castle's fortifications)
Lake Superior Agate (a red, orange, yellow, and grey-ish agate found on the shores of Lake Superior and other places in Minnesota)
Iris Agate (a translucent agate that shines rainbow when moved around in light)
Coyamito Agate (a vibrantly coloured agate that I can't find much information on)
Thanks for asking and please feel free to ask again if you need more help!

Fusion of a Black lace Onyx and a Corundum Streak Ruby?
Unfortunately, I can’t find corundum streak ruby, so I’ll have to use normal ruby instead. Please tell me if this doesn’t work. I can see them making:
Sard: a dark red gem (sometimes used as a synonym of carnelian) with occasional banding.
Red Onyx: An onyx that’s red and has white bands.
Trapiche Ruby: A ruby that has dark red/almost black bands
Thanks for asking, and if you need any more help, feel free to ask!

Hiii I have a few questions for fusions? What would a fusion of a Yellow Topaz x Citrine Quartz x Onyx Quartz x Red Coral x Chrysocolla be? (Citrine+Topaz=Tigers Eye)
For this, I’m assuming Onyx is black (and maybe has white streaks?)If so, I’d suggest:
Ammolite: has Topaz & Citrine’s yellow, Chrysocolla’s blue/green/teal, Coral’s red (and the fact it’s an organic gem from the sea), and sometimes has Onyx’s black. It has Onyx, Coral, and Chrysocolla’s opacity.
Yellow Spectrolite: Has Topaz and Citrine’s yellow, and the streaks that make it look sort of cracked (maybe they are cracks?) resemble the bands on Onyx. It also has Onyx, Coral, and Chrysocolla’s opacity. Yellow Spectrolite sometimes has blue spots on it, which could come from Chrysocolla. (There’s no red, but there is hot pink, and pink is in the red colour family.)
Petoskey Stone: if you mix red, yellow, black, and teal (blue/green), you’ll probably get a brown, and petoskey stone is a tan/light brown fossil and rock. It’s banded, and apparently it can also contain coral.
If you need more help, feel free to ask!

Heyy, i have my oc gemsonas Dark blue pearl and dark blue sapphire, and thei is Fusion Azurite but also i have problem with weapon. Because Pearl have scythe and sapphire have gauntlents. So probably weapon similar to sardonyx?
Hmm, I can see a scythe and gauntlets being:
Sapphire’s gauntlets with Pearl’s scythe blades crossing over the knuckles (or the blade can come out of the palms, but that seems more dangerous)
a trench knife (the knuckle busters could take the place of Sapphire’s gauntlets, and Pearl’s scythe can become the blade.)
If you wanted to lose the blade and have a weapon similar to Sardonyx, I can definitely see that working. But, I’d suggest having only one gauntlet that replaces the blade of the scythe, more like a sledgehammer, so it’s more unique.
Thanks for asking, and feel free to ask if you need more help!

Hello, what gem do you recommend for bismuth and citrine (I wish it was an orange / brown gem)
Hi! For an orange/brown gem to be the fusion of Bismuth (I’m assuming the canon one) and Citrine, I’d recommend:
Orange Calcite (bright orange and can sometimes be brown)
Tiger’s Eye (a brown quartz that can sometimes be orange-ish)
Orange Aragonite (an orange/brownish gem)
Thanks for asking, and if you need more help feel free to ask!

Hi!
I’m a Gemsona help blog and I’ve been around for a little while, but I don’t really get many asks, and I’m afraid it might’ve made people think I’m deliberately inactive, so I decided to make a post explaining what help I can offer.
I can:
The usual questions: answer questions to help make your OCs (weapons, fusions, personalities, etc)
“Odds and ends” questions: things like “Should my Gem have visible irises?”, “How can I add a crystalline element to this OC’s weapon?, or ”What gemstone does this palette look like?”
Dance style: I’m less experienced with these questions, but I can still try my hand at figuring out a dance and/or fighting style for your character, and maybe even how the styles mix with other characters!
Make palettes: I can make palettes for the gems you choose, and I can work with a certain picture if you specify it. (The site I use for palettes is Coolors.co.)
Just a note for HW jobs: I personally don’t believe the Mohs scale theory, and thus I doubt I’ll use it if I’m not asked, but I’m definitely willing to use it for your character if you want me to.
I won’t:
Draw you character: I spend a lot of my time drawing, and I would like to be able to do this someday, but I’m not yet at that level of confidence with my art to be able to draw other people character’s regularly.
Do critiques: I don’t really know how to do full critiques, but I can probably give my opinion on a design choice or something small like that.
In the show, a lot of elements about the characters are based on personality (weapon, dance style, possibly placement) and sometimes their abilities (it can help with HW and non-HW jobs/hobbies), so I will try to incorporate these into asks if you give me their personalities and skillset, but it’s not entirely necessary.
Also, for fusions, I would prefer if you keep the amount of fusions down to roughly 6 per ask. It also helps if they’re split up into separate asks, so I can answer the first few and finish the rest at a later time.
I apologise if you ever send an ask and I don’t answer it for a while, I can get pretty busy with school and home life, so please be aware that I may not get lots of time to work on asks. That being said, I’m fine with you asking if I’ve received your questions, but I’d prefer to answer that kind of ask privately if given a chance.
Thank you for reading, and if you have any questions (even ones regarding how this blog works), feel free to ask!
