StarCrow thing I thought up when I was board out of my mind at work:

Prince Xavier and Dragon Sylus (Stayrus) having a secret romantic relationship. Meeting up in a grove and spending time together, making love, all that sweet stuff.

Xavier telling Stayrus he loves him one day they’re fucking and Stayrus just freezes for a moment and asks Xavier to repeat himself. And he does, repeatedly as he grinds against him and Stayrus’ heart is so full he kisses the prince. And when they’re done he tells Xav that he loves him too and they both use their powers and create a bed of red and gold flowers as a symbol of their love.

But things don’t last and Xavier’s father discovers what his son has been up to. So when Xavier is sent away on princely duties he sets a trap to capture Stayrus. It doesn’t work but does lead to a bloody battle between dragon and philosians. When Xavier returns he hears what his father had planned to do and goes to find Stayrus, but it’s too late. Bodies are scattered around the bloody battlefield. The flowers that they had created now stained with death. There is a sword impaled through his lovers’ chest and Xavier holds him as he dies. He’s repeatedly apologizing for what happened but Stayrus shushes him and tells him he has no regrets. That he loved him and always will before closing his eyes.

Possible continuations would be:

1. Xavier waking up in his bed in modern day as he’s plagued by nightmares. Next to him Sylus wakes up and comforts his partner assuring him that all is okay. Xavier falls asleep in his embrace not knowing that the “nightmares” are actually memories of his past life. But Sylus knows. He remembers it all. He hasn’t told Xavier yet, probably won’t as a way to spare is Love from the pain. So Sylus carries the memories of the past for them both and ensures that such a fate never befalls them again.

2. Another reincarnation thing but, Xavier’s father kills his own son right then and there and leaves him for the wolves. Then cut to modern day and we have Xavier (part time Hunter, part time plant shop owner) one day have a customer with familiar white hair and piercing red eyes come in and buy a golden flower. There is light flirting coming from the red-eyed man before leaving. The two continue to cross paths with the man introducing himself as Sylus. They slowly start to fall in love and while this is happening they both are getting flashes of their past life.

Eventually Xavier’s father (in this life who he is in no contact with) comes into the picture and just causes chaos and really puts their relationship to the test. And after an argument, Xavier dreams of Stayrus’ death (thinking I’m might be some omen) and immediately goes to Sylus’ place to see him. They talk out the problems and apologize to each other. Xavier’s dad eventually leaves and things resume as they are with the two living happily together.

3. Stayrus dies and fades away in Xavier’s arms. A small red orb is absorbed into the prince. A final piece of his love. Xavier’s father approaches justifying that “the fiends” death was necessary for the kingdoms safety. For Xavier’s safety. Xavier knows it’s bullshit. Knows that this was all done in the name of control. So he stands and raises his sword against his father. They clash in a brutal battle. The sword slashes his eye and it’s enough for Xavier to be pushed to his knees. Reinforcements arrive and the King orders them to take his son into custody. Xavier slowly gets to his feet. His injured eye now a glowing ruby red. Dark tendrils surround his sword and a figure of the dead stares from behind. The fight that occurs is messy. The guards are dispatched but more are coming. Xavier plunges his sword into the ground and with a shout full of pain and anger black red energy washes over the land.

When Xavier stands everything in the vicinity is destroyed and turned to ruin. His father is barely alive and Xavier goes to plunge his now cursed sword into his father’s chest. But the old man doesn’t play fair and curses Xavier by transferring the remaining bit of his life force to him.

“Now you will forever walk among the living. Never to die. Never to rest. Forever separated from the beast that you “loved.” Forever burden with the sins you have and will commit.”

And so Xavier lives, not because he wants to but because he has no other choice. Xavier lives because he truly can’t die. Philos is in ruins after whatever he had done. Xavier leaves the kingdom. He wanders for an indefinite amount of time before finally coming to a cave in the mountains. Inside he finds treasures and nothing much else. A golden flower catches his eye and it settles that this was Stayrus’ home. Xavier curls up on the center stone holding the flower close to his chest and cries. Cries until he passes out. Xavier sleeps. Sleeps for centuries barely ever leaving the cave. Only when the hunger becomes too much does he leave and then he sleeps again.

*Now time to try and condense the rest of this cause I didn’t intend for this to be so long 🙃*

From the ruins of an old kingdom a city emerges. Linkon is bright and full of life. Xavier leaves his cave and slowly integrates himself into this new era. He lives a solitary life working at the plant shop he opened. He employs a man named Jeremiah, who looks exactly like his old friend. It hurts but maybe doing this could help make up for what he had done.

Eventually he runs into a too familiar face. White hair, red eyes, built figure. Xavier’s breath catches as a carbon copy of the man he loved, the one person he failed to protect walks through the doors of his shop. Jeremiah helps the man as Xavier just stares. Even his voice sounded the same.

Essentially the two keep meeting. Xavier learns his loves’ new name is Sylus. It’s beautiful. But he tries to keep his distance. He couldn’t risk something bad happening to him again due to Xavier’s involvement with him and his heart, after centuries of living, was still fragile. But Sylus was persistent and there was still a part of Xavier that yearned for him.

Slowly Sylus breaks down his walls and slowly Xavier lets him in. It was blissful. It felt as if nothing had changed. As if it hadn’t been centuries since they’ve been together. That past remains locked away in Xavier’s mind once he realizes that Sylus doesn’t recall their past life together. Best not to burden him with such painful memories or have him worry about him anymore than he already is.

And then one night, when they’re walking home they’re ambushed but some of Sylus’ “enemies.” (Let’s say that Sylus is still the boss of Onyichinus but Xavier is still unaware of that fact) So when this group of people show up threatening Sylus’ life Xavier is quick to try and protect him.

Xavier gets injured in the scuffle and lands in the hospital. The two have a bit of an argument (Sylus calling Xav an idiot for jumping in front of a bullet ment for him, Xav defending his actions in trying to keep Sylus safe). Xavier ends up mentioning something eluding to their past life together before Sylus is ushered out of the room by a nurse so Xav could rest.

*This is getting too long so I’m wrapping this up* A bunch of crazy things happen and once Sylus gets Xavier to his place for recovery he tells Xav that he’s beginning to remember their past life. Xavier has a whole break down about it as Sylus tries to comfort him assuring him he still loves him and doesn’t blame him at all. Yadda yadda they make it work and get together officially. The end.

*I should write a fic of this last idea. Maybe? Idk.*

Genevieve: Thoughts?

Caleb: Amazing! The new hair products are doing wonders!

Gen: I think it’s time I get a haircut if I’m going to be a Hunter.

Caleb: Nah. I’ve seen a bunch of Elite Hunters with hair your length. You’ll be fine Pip. Now, focus on the target.

Caleb: Genevieve? Is that really you Pip-Squeak?

Gen: C-Caleb?

Gen: Is it really you?

Caleb: You cut your hair. Why?

Caleb: Eve?

Gen: You really shouldn’t be here.

Sylus: Friend of yours Kitten?

Gen: Something like that.

A little Welcome to Delusion future sneak peak.

Pretty self explanatory. MC had long hair when she was little and loved it. Caleb helped her take care of it until he headed off to the academy and she to become a Hunter. However, after the explosion MC decides to finally cut her hair as a way of getting a fresh start for the next chapter in her life. Then she goes to Skyhaven.

And Caleb comes back. He's surprised by the change. Time goes by and for some reason every time Caleb sees MC her hair gets shorter.

Eventually after tracking her movements he follows her to the N109 Zone where an interesting sight greets him.
