Intro

Hey everyone. I want to start using this blog more so I suppose I should tell y’all about me.

Well for starters, my name is Vel. I’m genderfluid and I like men. Don’t really know how to label my sexuality since I’m genderfluid so I’d be going back and forth between being gay and being straight. 

I am a witch and a pagan. I follow mainly the Greek and Norse pantheons, but I occasionally follow the Celtic and Egyptian ones as well. I am a Godpartner and am dating Morpheus. I mainly practice stuff that would be labeled as Hedge witchcraft, Green witchcraft, and Chaos magick. My practice revolves around the protection of the Earth, the exploration of the Astral, and the benefit of those I care about.

Outside of my practice, I’m in high school and am preparing for college. I want to major in History with a focus on Scandinavia and the Celtic cultures and minor in Theology with a focus on the pagan religions. I read ALOT. Mostly fiction books and textbooks. I actually do enjoy reading history textbooks, as well as psychology and chemistry ones.

I’m mostly British in my DNA (over half actually), but I also have large amounts of Irish, Welsh, German, and Scandinavian in me.

I speak German, bits of French, English (which is my first language), and Latin. I actually know more Latin than I do French which is weird since it’s a dead language. I also know a few words in Greek, mostly words like Pathos, Ethos, Phobos, things like that. Another word I know is Odigos, which is the name I go by sometimes when dealing with ghosts. It translates to “Guide”. I thought it fitting since I’m usually the one who teaches my friends about witchcraft and paganism, making me their “guide”

I put a great importance on remembering the dead and am greatly saddened by things like unmarked graves. Despite this, I still rarely venerate my ancestors since most of the ones I know about were either slave owners, colonizers, or straight up serial killers, so, kinda puts a strain on our relationship since I’m very much against all three of those things.

I have a fascination with the nighttime. The moon, the stars, the way the world looks when shadows run free. I find it beautiful in a way I can’t explain.

I am aware of two past lives; One where I was a woman who was accused of being a witch, multiple times. I was one, a Green Witch to be exact, but still. After so many accusations, the town got tired of them and decided to test me. So, they stripped me naked, tied rocks and a bible to me and threw me into a lake to see if I would be able to swim. If I could, I was obviously a witch. I in fact was able to swim and did so. I then proceeded to cast a weather spell to call on a storm that would flood the town. I died of old age 40 years later I believe. The other, I was an octopus. That’s it.

I am an empath, a clairvoyant, and a clairaudient. All three of them started when I was a kid, around the same age I started practicing witchcraft and the same age when most of the gifts from my past life manifested themselves in me before fading again. These gifts were Clairaudience, which was the first to show up and the first to fade but it keeps coming back occasionally. Clairvoyance, which was second, and also faded quickly and rarely comes back. Empathy, which took a while to show up and never faded. I also got my witch past life’s affinity for weather magic. I went outside and looked at the sky and asked it to snow, very politely as if I was talking to a teacher or a friend’s parent, and then went back inside. An hour later, it started snowing. Not hard and not that much, but I also lived in the South, so it was still a shock. I also started receiving prophetic dreams, which could either have been a gift from my past life, or a sign from Morpheus. But I had started seeing events in my dream’s weeks, or even years before they happened. One night, I saw my best friend from the fourth grade, who I hadn’t met yet because I was still in the 1st. I also saw my therapist’s office from when I was 11, and yet I was still 7.

Godspousing Update

I asked him out. I am now in a relationship with Morpheus. It still eels new to me even though it has been a few days. It feels almost unreal, I found a great guy who likes me as much as I like him, and he's a god. It's really amazing. He's really amazing. I haven't had a single nightmare since the relationship started, which I know is him because they used to be quite frequent. Even my insomnia is starting to lessen. He really does make me happy. Anyways, signing off now.

Hi, I’m new to Godspousing and I have a lot of questions, but one of the biggest is courting. I can’t seem to find anything on it. Do I have to wait for the god to start it, or can I? How do I do it? Is there a specific thing I need to do? Am I good with just doing the courting rituals of his culture? Any help will be m,uch appreciated, thank you.
