My Lack of Motivation
Do you ever watch a movie that gives you a random shit ton of inspiration and motivation? I don’t know about you but I get this a lot. Like I’d be watching James Bond or something and be like “aight I’m gonna be a spy when I’m older”. Usually this only happens in short bursts though which is sad. I watched Bend it like Beckham when I was like 9, joined the school football team for like a week then bailed because thats how lazy I am.
I don’t enjoy being lazy. I really don’t. But I lack motivation so much that I find it incredibly difficult to even get out of bed most days. This is why I love movies. When I stumble across a really good movie that gives me enough motivation to get through the week it makes me really fucking happy. I have several movies that help however, like most people, you get bored of movies when you see them too many times and I would hate to ruin something that makes me happy. This is why I watch so many in hope that I can find a new one to get me out of bed the next day.
I’ll give you a cheeky list of a few movies that boost the old motivation levels:
1. The Breakfast Club
2. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
3. Juno (I know you’re probably thinking “what the fuck, Genny, how does a movie about a pregnant girl motivate you, you fuckin weirdo” and my answer to that is ‘I have absolutely no idea its just a good movie’”
4. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
5. Paper Towns (I hated everything about this movie yet I still found it motivating)
6. The Amazing Spider-Man
7. We Bought A Zoo (I can’t remember if I found this motivating or I just really liked it)
8. Divergent (Not gonna lie the other movies in this series are crap)
9. Silver Linings Play Book
10. Chasing Mavericks
11. Me And Earl And The Dying Girl (One of my favorite movies of all time)
Right so the last one I mentioned is what inspired me to write this (if you haven't already worked it out I’m in a current phase of motivation... this one has lasted a while and I hope it carries on). I came to the conclusion that Greg and I, (Greg’s the main character) have a large amount in common. Mainly the fact that we prefer to remain unnoticed by others and that we are both quite weird. Also I like his clothes. He has some very nice clothes. Anyway, its about a boy who is forced by his mum to make friends with a girl who has leukemia, and no this is nothing like The Fault In Our Stars. That movie is fucking dreadful. Getting away from the point, “it is a tale of mismatched friendships” and it really helps you notice who your true friends are. That sounds painfully cringey but I for one reconsidered a large number of friendships after watching this movie and my life has improved significantly since. It also taught me that I shouldn’t worry about what other people think which I guess I knew already but this movie really drummed it into my head. It also gave me outfit inspiration and thats always a good thing. I can’t describe the plot because its so simple. Its such a simple movie yet the way they produced it was so effective. Like the camera angles, the way Greg said things, the music used, and not to mention the fact that it had like 5 movie genres in one. Okay 5 is exaggerating but its like sad, funny, informative etc all at the same time. Fuck I love this movie... if you couldn’t already tell...
I’m gonna see how long this motivation period lasts but I really do think this one might stick. I fucking hope it does anyway. Sorry for the waffle but a waffle was needed. If you happen to watch this movie after reading this I hope you enjoy it and I hope it helps you out as much as it helped me!

Geneva Convention
See the thing is currently I have no idea what the fuck I am doing so I think the best way to start off this ridiculous idea is by aquainting myself with said reader. Perhaps I should tell you what on earth is going on, that is probably a good place to start.
As a very opinionated person I feel as if the best way to discuss what I am thinking is by writing it down as the things that cross my mind on a daily basis would most likely not come up in a conventional conversation... I mean I think people would think I was rather odd if I interrupted their conversation to talk about what number they have their toaster on, or whether or not Jesus had multiple side hoes...
So as we embark on this rather spontaneous journey I would just like to say I hope you find my point of view some what entertaining and I am very sorry but I have absolutely no idea what I am doing... Anyway, onwards and upwards my friends.
