Hey! Shouldn’t it be a requirement for members to put their subgender (alpha/beta/omega) and scents on their profile? It makes it easier for people (especially members of the group) to know instead of awkwardly having to ask bc certain characters should technically know already

★﹐ hello! to answer your question, it is not a requirement here at genes, and it won’t be! genes handles omegaverse differently to other collectives, seeing subgenders as something personal and rarely shared with others unless muses are close to one another, this makes even more sense relating to idols and their heightened privacy! this is also put in place to stop facechasing based on subgenders, and also general weird behaviour towards muses based on their subgender. if you want your muse to know another muse’s subgender (if they haven’t already put it somewhere publicly), get to putting in the effort for your muse to get to know them on a deeper level, get to plotting, or simply ask them! ♡⸜(ˆᗜˆ˵ )⸝♡

hello all! with our collective opening we are so glad to see so many faces with us! with that being said, we still have a stark difference in male and female faceclaims. because of this, we are enforcing another male faceclaim ban until we receive another five (5) additional female faceclaim applications.

again, this is a decision based on what we as admins feel will be beneficial for our community. we hope this does not deter those interested in applying, but makes them think about writing a female faceclaim instead! if you are interested in a comfortable atmosphere to write a/b/o, along with your favourite gen muses, and would love to write a female faceclaim, think of joining us!
