learning Styles Questionnaire
The Honey & Mumford questionnaire (1989) is used to discover which type of learner you are, the results were as follows: This questionnaire reflects on me as an individual very well, as it shows I learn by observing this is vital for coaching because you watch your players and observe them then you start to think how you can improve them if they’re doing something wrong. It shows I am a good listener this is good because as a coach you have to listen to people views on the session or on yourself.

Grades Achieved semester 1;
Module Assi 1 Assi 2 Exam Overall S+C 30 Fundar 48 pysch PDP 38 Process 55 DPA 38 APM 35%
I have produced a spreadsheet to record my grades over the year: so far semester one is not looking too good: i find academic work difficult and have scored better in the practical assessments. I need to continue to develop these skills and use support where I can. My APM for semester 1 is 35% this is below expectations and i need to improve in semester 2, as this ill effect my ability to progress to year 2.

References used to support my learning.
References used to support my modules, i found journals both difficult to find, as a lot of them once you read them are not necessary, then you spend ages seeking for more. They can be hard to read as they use complex terminology that is often difficult to understand. I need to persevere with the use of these as the course dictates we have to use them for our assessment to support theories and practices.

PDP Feedback & Reflection
GRADE 36/0 PDP Assignment 1 GRADE/MARK REPORT GENERAL COMMENTS Instructor.
Whilst you have addressed the learning outcomes, there is a significant lack of academic rigor applied. Many of the sources are very poor and none of the ones used, with exception to the Dearing report and statistics, have been recommended. The discussions are stronger in the first 2 paragraphs, then you become chatty and the use of colloquial language is poor. You have had guidance on academic writing and presently you have shown only a very basic understanding of these. The SWOT analysis lacks any real ref lection and the action plan is completed with brevity. It is therefore recommended you re-visit the work and correct all comments made and re-submit to a satisfactory standard.
 Reflection:
On reflection of the grade I received, I was very disappointed. The work did not reach 40%, however after I read the comments I realised that I had not applied academic rigor sufficiently well to ensure I did meet the minimum grade. I need to allow more time for the completion of the essays, as I under-estimated how long they would take to produce. It was the researching that took longest and because I hadn’t realised this I ended up rushing the work and not passing. I have now learnt that I need to spend more time preparing for the writing of the assignments as researching is time consuming. I also need to utilise the support staff such as Lesley Martin, she can help with presentation grammar and use of colloquial words.

George you show a good understanding of the LTAD and also develop some discussion around the theory. Your session description is very descriptive and you need to support and reference some of the areas to show why you are doing the session as you are. Try not write this in the first person although it is tempting to do so. Your references are all of f the internet and I am not sure that Mr Sport is an academic reference, maybe use this as a resource to f ind information rather than quoting straight form it. You also use quite a few quotes try to paraphrase a little more. also watch how you reference your quotes. 48 Overall 48 -55-55 =53
Overall I was happy with the result of my first assignment in fundamentals, in the practical session is where I made the better of my marks as that is where I was most confident however as you can see above my academic writing needs to improve as I’m using poor references. I can also utilise support services such as Lesley Martin.
