The way a real Emcee, handles the mic before he storms the stage, tells how good he is and how great he will deliver, during performance. No wonder, @nas only needed "One Mic" in his STILLMATIC 2001 studio album.

In Nigeria, back in early 2000, the time when Alaba boiz where in Control. the Hip Hop scene in Nigeria was on a stand still. You will never catch me and my pals then, listening to Nigeria rap.

But suddenly in 2004, a few of ma homeboiz started talking 'bout MODE NINE, anytime the topic of discussion jumps to Nigerian Music Scene. They where always like, " Orne you need to listen to MODE NINE, he is outta of this world ".

Too Bad, i never really listened to him well, till he dropped his PENTIUM IX. Omo... me and ma homie @garbatorkuma, keenly listen to the CD. ( na borrow we borrow the CD dat year sha). Ma Favourites on the MIXTAPE, where LAGOS STATE OF MIND, ELBOW ROOM remix and PISSING ME OFF. That was where ma love for MODE'S lyrics and Music started. Till date, he is on ma TOP 5IVE favorite Emcees in Nigeria.
