What kind of person WOULDN'T want to go ghost hunting?

Here me out, I'm not one of those white people! I don't like mayo on my sandwiches, I don't clap when the plane lands, and I don't look to see what made that noise down a dark hallway.

Ever since I got my license, I wanted to go a-hunting in the most paranormal spots that you didn't need to buy your way in or that were crowded with others. It would be nice to go with some friends who enjoy that stuff or even a special someone. I've watched so many videos, episodes, "found footage" of people in scary spots and I listen...I look in the spots that are too damn dark and see/hear nothing. I'm the kind of person who needs to experience it without that sudden camera move when I'm focusing my 34 year old eyeballs. Sheesh! calm down for a minute and reevaluate.

So, whose willing to do this?

Slowly...

Ever so slightly, I'm getting a bit closer to having a handle on my life. I mean, I'm going back and forth on jobs but I didn't know that the demand on insurance was this much!

Like, the questions I can understand, the answers are just common sense, but when I read through it all I just second guess myself on the answers. When I get it wrong, I angrily answer the next questions randomly hoping to get it right without even looking at the question; surprise, it doesn't work! So, the next step would be doing another job that doesn't really require me to have a license to do so and get the money that is needed. Hopefully, it isn't too late. BUT, I'm not giving up because mama raised no quitter--a smartass, yes.

Twelve Years and I'm still boring (Last Part)

We're still talking March here.

During my time, I dumbly wrote in a journal that she left for us to communicate (that was also one of the reasons we broke up. We didn't communicate well). That made things tougher, but I still had my job. I asked my boss to keep me busy, he asked "why?"

I flat out told him because he was a man of God, I was brought back into the fold, and he took pity on me. Made sure I was busy and not in my head, but still checked on me to make sure I wasn't talking with her. I always told him, "No sir. There's no chance of us talking again." Sadly.

Then, end of the school year at the state college was starting to finally come to an end; summer break. VMI cadets tend to leave things and we were told (other employees working on the campus) that anything the cadets want to get rid of, we could take.

Weeellll, that wasn't exactly true. I was called to the head supervisor's office--my dad, as well!--and we both lost our jobs that day. Apparently, we weren't allowed to take things. What was left on VMI property is there's; even if the cadets bought it. Twice, my dad fought it. Twice we were told "the decision stands". Twice...I tried to end it.

I was a coward. Not because I was going to do it, but my body...it wouldn't let me! I had the tool in my hand and...

It's July now and my Dad has been fighting VMI and they've managed to see their error. I'm still not sure we'll be working, so I'm trying to get my license in Insurance. I'm still numb from it all...and I still tried to talk with my ex because I could trust her. But, I'm back on here because it's freeing. There are people on here who look and comment and I'm hoping to find people that can make me appreciate this new strength that I've gained.

Or if they just like the stories I have to share!

Twelve years and I'm still boring (Part 2)

So...where do I even start?

Well, I met this girl named Lelia. Sweetest girl I have ever seen and I didn't really care about her disability. She has Cerebral Palsey, she walked at a slow pace; I'm 6'2" and size 13 feet. I had no problem with that. What really got me was her laugh! I mean, this isn't a cliche, people, she laughed with her entire body. I loved it!! Everything else--her religion, her mannerisms, her disability--it did not matter to me in the slightest because I felt something calming about her. I didn't want to leave our date, I didn't want to leave when I had to go back to my apartment on Sunday because of work!

I was going to marry her...then I fucked up.

Without saying much on here, I was her first. (messed up)

I screamed at her when she wanted to end things (I threatened all types of things that weren't true) But, she took me back...but only out of pity. I spent every other month trying to fix things for her.

Long story short: we broke up back in March. I tried to talk, I really tried. It was met with threats from a drunk father and bipolar mother for a cop party. It took until the end of June to see that I actually died.

But, the real attempt wasn't because of her! If you want to ask her side because you may know this person or want to really figure whose wrong: fuck off! You get the first name, nothing else.

The last time I was on here was when I was celebrating my sister's first wedding and then I dropped it off because I was petty. Now, I'm back and looking to fill the hole in my heart once again.

For those who don't know me, hi! I'm Patrick. I published (yay! Back in 2018) two books of a series called "The Elementalist Chronicles" and then I came up with--and still working on--a short story series called "It's Gonna Be A Long Afterlife" and I think I have it somewhere on my phone? Anyways!

Things have really changed for me, those of you who are on here or not. COVID sucked. I'll reiterate what everyone on TikTok, Twitter, and Insta have said over and over. But, I found that I didn't need to go through college and started to work on anything other than retail. I managed to get a state job in 2023. Found a great girl! Made me see religion as what it really was and I'm not going to convert anyone on here. Please don't cancel me!
