hi I’m asking another question are you the unnamed high god in the little thieves series or is that like undisclosed. Because that would be so fun

As much as that idea tickles me, I think of High Gods as like.... you know how in many myths, mortals who see the true form of a god are blinded/evaporated on the spot? That is the essence of High Gods to me. They are divine forces so far beyond human comprehension that to try to name one would kill you. By contrast, the Low Gods are the sort of divine manifestations that bicker, disguise themselves as old ladies, and periodically make bargains at assorted crossroads.

One of the major faiths believes the hundreds of Low Gods across the empire—including Death, Fortune, Justice, Time, and more—are mere facets of a single High God. I will neither confirm nor deny it, I'll just say it's possible.

nothing but respect for our troops (smut writers) but listen. i dont want to be the person to tell you this, but not every character is going to be a dom or a sub. some people. and i know this is hard to hear. but some people do have vanilla sex. and some of those people might even be The Character.

so i wore a pride flag pin to work the other day and the kids were all interested (obviously) (find me a classroom of preschoolers who are not obsessed with rainbows) (i'll wait) so they crowded around to see.

"aww!" they said, "it's a flag!!"

but the thing is: they're little. a lot of them don't really have a handle on all their mouth sounds yet.

such as, notably, that tricky tricky "L" sound.

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

random anecdote for father's day: one time during a long car ride my dad asked me, "you're familiar with Murphy's Law, right?" and i was like "isn't that the one about how anything that can go wrong will go wrong?" and he said "yeah, exactly" and i said "why do you ask?" and he went "well, have you heard of Cole's Law?" and i said "no, actually, what's that?" and he said "it's mostly lettuce and carrots with a little dressing mixed in"

I just finished @what-eats-owls's Holy Terrors and had to draw one of my absolute favorite parts.

(It's right up there with Benno and the LESPians.)
