also inspired by the twitter trend going around with the pictures like this

i think sanemi would forget sometimes that baby obanai isn’t actually their son and that giyu did not birth him 🤣

you've mentioned your obanai is very sickly

do sanegiyuu ever have to help him when hes in pain because of it? or something like it?

yes... unfortunately obanai keeps his scar (as seen here), and even then he's really small and weak for a one month old

as he gets older it's more manageable, but from infanthood to him being maybe 5 or 6 he needs a lot of special attention

sanegiyuu sleeps with Obi in their arms or cuddled up between the two... he doesn't get to sleep in his own bed until hes a bit older (not that Obi necessarily wants to-- he likes being with the two) ...

they try not to look at his scar too much. its the first time either of them are seeing it and it makes them really angry and upset to think of what obanai had gone through to get a scar like that. but if its really hurting obanai, they'll give it gentle kisses

they're extraordinarily protective and if obi so much as coughs, they're hysterical. giyuu has never seen sanemi so gentle and terrified.

What does babynai call Sanemi and Giyu? I just have this image in my head of both of them competing to get Obi to call them “dad” first. Anyway, I love the gays and their baby 😌

Babynai calls Sanemi "Papa" ...... Giyuu is "Dada"

Obi occasionally slips up and calls Giyuu his Mama, though. Shinobu once made a joke about Giyuu acting like a "worried Mama," and Obi was at that stage where he echoes everything he hears, so... insert Giyuu being called "Mama" here and there

NOTE: Obi also has a label for Gyomei and Kagaya-- Gyomei was the first to get a title. at the time, Obi called Sanemi "Gawa" and Giyuu "Omi"

Since Obi never had a father, he didn't know what he was meant to call Gyomei, and referred to him as "Mama" ... despite the attempts to correct him, the name stuck... so now Gyomei is "Mama Mei" !! he learned with Kagaya-- though he ends up calling him "Master" (or Masss'a) if he doesn't slip up and say "Da"

Sanemi and Giyuu wouldn't admit it, but they were really jealous when Gyomei got a label before them. Since then, it has become a competition!

With the au where obi is growing up, how fast is he growing up? And would he grow back up with out the scars or would they appear one day? Ohh that would be so sad sanegiyuu would just hold him as he relives it :(

funny enough i drew this the other day while brainstorming !!! im thinking even when he turns into a tiny baby he has his mouth scars ):

to be drawn but methinsk sanegiyuu (and the others once they get to see him) are all extremely careful with his scar … some of them give it gentle little kisses

often times his scar hurts him a lot.. insert angst -> fluff scenarios here

how fast is he growing up…? i’d say he ages up a year each week! however his growth can be stunted depending on the situation

— ex: if he’s having a really hard time emotionally he’ll end up being two years old for like a week and a half

respectfully, i am exploding you with my mind!!!! your artworks and your aus are so beloved!!! like the thought you put into your pint sized au and the art you make for it brings me joy every single time because ahhh the hashira being happy and silly together and interacting more compared to what canon gives me!! arghhh!!! ALSO THE ONE ANIMATION U DID FOR THE HASHIRA? GENUINELY MADE ME SAD,,

all this to say, it takes a creative brain and skilled hands to create artworks that evoke emotional responses from others!! you're a lot more thoughtful and skilled than you gave yourself credit for

In the SaneGiyu and Baby Obi AU. Do you think Giyu would take up knitting? As I doubt, most newborn clothes will fit Obanai. Plus, it's a good way to pass the time when waiting.

absolutely! i love this idea so much!!!

he would put a lot of thought into them… always making them personable and ensuring they are to obanai’s liking

i think he would also knit him a lot of baby blankets, and would use whatever he has left to knit something for kaburamaru too… this makes obanai/obi very very happy!!!

obanai has sensitive skin so giyuu always makes sure its a texture he can wear too. he cares very much for obanai’s safety and comfort
