Here’s the list from the case tournament I participated in yesterday. The deck is not 100% finished yet but it still held up decently.

Case Tournament

I went to a Photon Hypernova case tournament today and played Kashtira. The deck wasn’t finished and I’ll post pictures of my list later but here’s how it went:

Round 1: vs Tenyi Swordsoul

I lost 0-2. Game 1 my opponent outed my board and OTK’d me on their first turn. Game 2 I went first and bricked, unfortunately they did not so they took the match.

Round 2: vs Dinomist

I won 2-0. My opponent wasn’t using an Extra Deck so they could play around Mind Hacker but all I had to do both games was make a half decent board and I won.

Round 3: vs Floowandereeze

I won 2-0. Game 1 I honestly couldn’t tell what they were playing because they bricked so I just made my usual board and swung in for game. Game 2 I sniped their only extender with Lightforce Sword and they proceeded to concede the match.

Round 4: vs Adventure Plunder Patroll

I lost 1-2. This was my only match all day that went to Game 3 and honestly was almost decided by time rules. Game 1 we had a decent back and forth but ultimately they cleared my board and swung in for game. Game 2 I Nibiru’d during their first time and along with Mind Hacker was able to take Game 2. Game 3 was a back and forth power struggle but they Book of Moon’d my Shangri-Ira and it was over after that.

Round 5: vs Bystial Spright

I lost 0-2. I opened suboptimal going first Game 1 and got cheesed by Shadow Masquito. Game 2 i bricked and still got cheesed by Shadow Masquito.

Overall: 2-3-0

It was a fun event and the first time I’ve finished an event in a long time. Normally I drop when I know I can’t make top cut, but I decided today since it was only 5 Rounds that I would play it out no matter what. I was surprised with how well the deck performed even though it wasn’t finished. I look forward to finishing my deck and I can’t wait for the next event.

Picked up 3 booster boxes of Photon Hypernova today. Not pictured in terms of secret rares were Gold Pride - The Crowd Goes Wild! And Weighbridge. Wish they would’ve been any combo of Kashtira Arise-Heart, Kashtiratheosis, or Pressured Planet Wraitsoth but still extremely happy with the Kashtira stuff I did pull. Triple Tactics Thrust isn’t so bad either.

My first post in 5-6 years. I didn’t think I’d ever come back here. Didn’t think they’d bring it back honestly. But my first post in years is gonna be about YuGiOh (Like always) but specifically Tearlaments.

I enjoyed the deck since the moment I laid hands on it to test it. Much like Shaddoll I enjoyed the main Fusion Monster was a mermaid waifu looking card. I absolutely love fusions so I dove straight in as soon as I could. The last time I played the deck at an event was a month ago during Darkwing Blast regional block. Anxiety got the better of me and I didn’t do so well.

As edgy and cringe as this will sound (you’re welcome future me) I must say farewell to the mermaids and rest in peace. You had you’re time and, to me, it was glorious.

ariana is literally in hospital because she’s been in hysterics for 15 hours, has allegedly discussed ending her career and is actively blaming herself for all of this and people are angry for her cancelling her tour?? priorities people, please.

people have lost their lives. families have been separated, an 8 year old girl has just been identified as the second victim. ariana’s whole team actively tried to protect people by taking young kids into safe areas- include her own mother.

this isn’t just a small inconvenience. this is a tragedy. think before you react. i’ve got too many people around me thinking about themselves other than those who deserve and need it.

people still do not consider their idols as human and continue to expect ariana to tour when she’s in pain. it’s sickening.

You know cool Strowman won, whatever. Now for once I'm pulling for Brock Lesnar, I can't stand Lesnar, but I hope they put Strowman up against Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire and Lesnar absolutely destroys Strowman.
