I imagine it's a combined family effort to actually get him sat down to be preened (he likes it in the moment he's just salty about how easily he falls asleep). He does take it a lot worse earlier on, understandably

Turns out constantly binding your wings and never acknowledging them, moving them, or stretching them since the day you grew them makes it pretty hard to actually lift them up without help. Oh he needs so much help, so much physical therapy, also regular therapy
