Hey, if you have half a minute and care about the LGTBQIA+ community in the EU, I'd suggest you take a look at this initiative to ban conversion therapies in the EU.

1 million people are required to sign, but there's barely 100k. The form takes less than a minute, it only requires your ID, name and surname.

Please, help spread the initiative so that it can reach the goal ASAP!

I've always been told by my parents that they would always try to help me be the best version of myself, that they would always want me to be able to express myself.

They have definitely done that. They have fought for and with me, to make sure I would end up somewhere where I would be happy. They persistently bugged every school about giving me what I needed to be able to continue with school.

They didn't know any better.

Nobody seems to know any better.

School seemingly was just never supposed to work for me.

But that was not was I wanted to talk about today.

They have always loved me and made me feel like I could tell them everything, which I could. However, the way they did that may not have been the best for me. They never cared about how I decided to express myself or about my sexuality or gender. And because of that I never cared about those thing. I never cared enough to find out who I was. I always just accepted that others viewed me one specific way, because that couldn't be changed and didn't stop me from viewing myself outside of their view, I thought. Except it did, somewhat.

I never questioned who I was, because I didn't care, because I didn't think it was important. except now I don't know who I am. Now I'm left broken. You always need something to hang on to, but, because of school, I lost the one thing I had, the one thing I thought I knew. And because I never searched for myself, I didn't have anything else to hang on to. I was empty.

I did find others thing though.

Because of a friend of mine, I got my emotions back.

Because I was rid of school, I was able to explore what I really wanted, and found my passion to work towards.

Because I finally had free time, I could explore my hobbies and finally start some projects I had in mind for a long time.

An electic power pole on a hill with forest. They got rid of trees, to put the pole there, which, even though is bad for the enviroment, looks nice imo. I don't quite like the clouds, but whatever. - don’t apologise if you don’t know english.

- yes, english is the most common language on the internet but you are not forced to know it perfectly.

- your own language is beautiful.

- non-english people make a huge effort to write in English everyday on this website.

- support non-english people and don’t make them feel bad if they do not know English. 

- actually support all the languages.

- spread more language diversity on Tumblr.
