I meant to post these earlier but I just could not find the motivation.

yea I went out to paint with watercolours and then it fuckin rained so I got a good amount done and then decided to go take photos of another place that I wanted to paint and like...

the UK has a significant amount of issues but I can't really be mad when I can walk around my town and find shit like this;

also the spot I was painting before the rain started activating colours I didn't want to use;

I swear the clouds weren't that dark. for me it was all light grey, almost white. it also wasn't this desaturated idk what's going on with this photo, specifically. my phone camera was like 'fuck ur tree photo bitch' like plz. plz. how am i supposed to paint it if the colours are wrong?

I'm kinda excited? Today I'm going out with my watercolours and just painting smth, and tomorrow I'm getting a new mattress because the current one is like 20 years old and has two holes in, but that means I'm stripping the bed today and sleeping on the sofa so we can very quickly and easily get the mattress out tomorrow for a mattress recycling thing when they deliver the new one.

Honestly, I'm more excited for the painting. I've been wanting to for over a month but shit happened last month that I will see a doctor about if it happens again.

i fuckin hate doin edits sometimes

bcus like, u end up staring at celebs' faces and then u realise, oh, ryan gosling's left eye is lower than his right one. oh, gerard way's eyes are tilted down on the outer corners and up on the inner corners. chris evans' right eyebrow is more curved than his left. tom hiddleston has a fuckin cat mouth and so does cameron britton, but tom's is more obvious when he's smiling and cameron's only really shows up when his mouth is open because it's his top lip curving over his front teeth. seb stan's right ear has a bump that his left doesn't. matthew gray gubler's eyes do the same thing gerard way's does.

and then u can't unsee it. so i forever notice that fuckin bump on seb stan's ear and it's not like i'm trying to see it but..

it's not subtle, y'know?

and it's not even useful things bcus how tf am i gonna bring up tom hiddleston's cat mouth in a thread? or chris evans' curvy right eyebrow? like.

That easy grin did precisely nothing to convince her that he was looking after himself, and Eleanor peered at him through her glasses, tilting her head back just a little bit to see him better, squinting again as if she were reading his every secret from only that grin, albeit with slight difficulty. It was impossible for her to do—she couldn't read minds and would never have wanted to, what with ignorance being bliss—but she'd learned decades before that it was an effective way to force someone to talk about something they otherwise didn't want to talk about, and she was not above trying it out on him. It had worked on her daughter, so there was a chance it'd work on him, too. A slim chance, but still a chance.

The thought did occur to her that he maybe didn't want her to worry, didn't want her concern, and preferred to just sit in her living room with the cat on his lap. If that was the case, though, then he shouldn't have been so easy for her to worry about, and he should've been quicker to avoid being adopted in the first place. It was his own fault, really.

She didn't, truly, believe that, but it was a silently entertaining idea; him running from adoption.

"Well," she said finally, moving to gently place a hand on his as a reassuring little movement, "if you're sure." There was another moment before she moved off to get herself a glass of orange juice from the kitchen.

"I think he's missed you, dear," she was saying as she walked down the hallway, making sure to speak louder so ensure he'd be able to hear her properly and neglecting to name the 'he', though Mister Fluffums the Third having made Danny's lap his bed may have made it obvious enough. "He does like you. I've never known him to like anyone more than you." Was she rambling while she moved? Potentially.

Once again, she had the thought that he should've been quicker if he wanted to avoid it.

"Now, there is that nice boy that helps me out with my groceries, but he never sits down for long…" There was a small tut as she re-entered the room with her drink, glancing his way again. "He's always so busy, too. You two would have a lot in common, always being so busy." There was a teasing hint to her smile now, just a little tint to turn her tone gently playful, like she was pranking him.

"Now, are you sure you don't need anything, dear?" She still hadn't sat down, so it was the perfect time to ask before she could get comfortable.

Of course, he was not so daft as to believe she was simply a sweet and innocent grandma. Lord only knows what sort of shit she's gone through, and he wasn't about to test it; he had only to look at his dearly deceased father (whom he cleanly offed) to know that some people, when they get to a certain age, go off the rails. Not that he had any plans to do so to this one, as she was clearly in her right mind (he thinks).

Besides, even he is not immune to the kind grandma with the weird cat.....whom has him currently trapped as the fuzzy creature decided to lay on his lap and refuse to move. It has made it's home there it seems, so he can do nothing about it.

"'Course I'm lookin' after myself," he scoffed mildly though not rudely, flashing an easy grin. Granted the fact he barely even remembered the last time he ate properly (was it after he stalked his victim two days ago, or last night when he was washing his knife and clothes?), but of course he wouldn't let her know otherwise.

'Young people are always so busy'

He almost could have laughed, but he bit down, even nonchalantly petting the cat to distract himself. Oh, he was busy alright, if being dead counted as busy. "I'm fine...trust me."
