Moon felt every circuit in his body tremble. The look on his counterpart's face sent waves of shock through him. He seemed so happy to be free of him, so relieved. If he had a heart, it would have shattered to pieces. Without Sun, he would simply be... just Moon. Broken, lonely, and sad. He knew the virus had caused so much trauma for them both, but never in a million years would he have guessed that Sun would be so ready to leave him behind.

behold: what has been taking up my time for the past two and a half weeks!

this piano was a public art commissions for the city! it's covered in dinosaurs that have actually been found (and in the case of 3 of them, discovered) in my home state of colorado. i'm super happy with how it turned out and i had a blast painting it :^)
