♡Yuri Visual Novel and Game Tourney ♡

This is a tourney to celebrate and spread awareness of yuri visual novels and games.
For this tourney, please submit any visual novel or game that is focused on
queer relationships between women
the queer female experience
Please don't submit games that have yuri couples/overtones but aren't yuri-centric. Those games are great, but this tournament is focusing on games explicitly about girl/girl dynamics. If you aren't sure if your game counts, please send an ask!
Please submit your games and propaganda here. The first tourney will be run once we reach 32 submissions, but the submission form will be open indefinitely. I hope to run multiple tournaments and spread awareness of the many wonderful yuri visual novels and games that exist! If you are a creator, don't be shy to submit your own game.
There are no rules regarding content of games, but please submit content warnings in the section provided in the form if you think the game has content that warrants a warning.
Tagging a few people for exposure. Please reblog if you want to!
@nadianova, @ebi-hime, @hanakogames, @studioelan (all the yuri game devs that I know of on tumblr; if I missed any I'd love to know!), @yuripoll, @himejoshidoll
Thank you, and I hope you look forward to the tourney!

Viral "Green Yuri" Manga 'The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All' Anime Adaptation Announced
Sumiko Arai’s popular Yuri manga The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t a Guy at All (Ki ni Natteru Hito ga Otoko Janakatta) is getting an anime adaptation. The news broke in Japan on Thursday, when the third collected Japanese volume, which included the anime's announcement, was released.
The manga's wrap-around packet band, as shown in the picture below from the official Animate AL. PLAZA X (formerly Twitter) account showcases the animation decision. No information on the anime's staff or release timeframe has been publicly announced at the time of writing.

Mangaka Sumiko Arai posted in response to the news on X, writing, "It’s so so touching and I’m so happy to be able to share the news with you guys... I hope it becomes something that’s loved worldwide by such a diverse & lovely audience like you guys. Thank you for always being a huge support, you made this happen!"

The manga, which started its weekly run on X in 2022, follows gyaru Aya Oosawa, who develops a crush on the alt clerk at the CD shop she frequents, unaware that it is her female classmate, Mitsuki Koga. Yen Press further describes the series:
Fashionable and upbeat high schooler Aya falls head over heels for an employee at a local CD shop. He’s got an air of mystery about him, always dressed well, and has impeccable taste in music. Little does she know―this supposedly male employee is actually her female classmate Mitsuki! Mitsuki generally keeps to herself, but since her seat is right next to Aya’s, she can’t help but be extremely aware of the other’s crush. Revealing the truth is out of the question―but perhaps getting closer to Aya wouldn’t be so bad…
The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All has cultivated a massive international online following. The first English volume became the publisher's Yen Press top manga debut, according to a "2024 Rewind" published on the company's social media accounts.

The second volume in the Yuri series was released in English on Tuesday. It is translated by Ajani Oloye with lettering by Brandon Bovia.
You can check out the first two collected volumes of The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All in English digitally and in paperback today: https://amzn.to/4gNfMc6

Independent Yuri Magazine 'Galette' Crowdfunds First English Edition
Galette, the independent creator-owned Yuri manga magazine, has successfully crowdfunded its first English edition on Kickstarter. As of writing, over 300 backers raised 3.7 million Yen (25,000 USD), more than doubling the project's initial goal of 1.8 million Yen (12,000 USD) with 14 days left in the campaign, which launched on August 2.
The project hit three of its four stretch goals, adding a book cover and new color illustrations and pages from the various contributing authors.
The first English edition of Galette includes a translated selection of titles previously published in the Japanese edition. These works are:
Liberty by Izumi Kitta and Moto Momono
The Last Winter Sun Shower (Girl Friends extra edition) by Milk Morinaga - Girl Friends is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment
That Woman in the Infirmary by Miyuki Yorita
Fluffy, Fuzzy, Dreamy. by Mera Hakamada
The Girls' Arcadia by Haru Yatosaki
Sky Blue Melancholic by Ringo Hamano
I Want You to Show it Only to Me by Nekohariko 22
This is the first of seven planned English volumes of Galette. Each volume will be crowdfunded, and after all seven are released, Galette plans to publish Japanese and English editions simultaneously. Future volumes will not be published if any volume fails to meet its required funding goal.
Galette is an independent magazine that began publishing quarterly in 2017. The magazine just celebrated the launch of its 31st issue. It is largely crowdfunded through memberships, along with sales of print and digital editions of the magazine, the spinoff publications Galette Meets and Petit Galette, and publication of collected volumes and works from the magazine, including Moto Momono's The Rain and the Other Side of You (licensed in English by Digital Manga Inc.) and Milk Morinaga's My Cute Little kitten (licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment).
You can check out the Kickstarter for the English Edition of Yuri Manga Magazine Galette and contribute to the project today.
