If that’s not acceptable, Dacre Montgomery would be alright. Age and Birthday (must be between 20 and 23): 21, April 22 Are they a college student? If so, what grade are they in? Where do they go? What is their major? Yes; Kit is a senior, at the University of San Francisco, where he double majors in Psychology and Communications, with a minor in Business.

Do they work? If so, where? Yes, although he doesn’t need to - he works part time as a bartender at Shotwell’s. How long have they been in San Fran? Since the summer before his junior year. What are their hobbies and interests? Politics, good beer, good food, theater (performing & attending), religion, being better than other people. A random fact about them: He was named for his maternal grandfather, who went by Kit, which is where the nickname comes from. Any additional connections you would like to add? +Kit and Josie Hart went to the same church back in the day - except she more or less left it behind, and he didn’t. He’s constantly torn between trying to proselytize her back and following in her footsteps, leaving his cross necklace behind. He thinks she’s a little out there, a little whacky, but he also sort of admires that about her…even if he’d never say it out loud. Anything you would like to change? Nope! Ships: Chemistry

CHARACTER BIO POINTS:

Christopher Wilde was born to Charles and Astrid Wilde in a small hospital near New Orleans. His father was in the hotel business and travelled frequently, leaving Astrid to raise Christopher by herself. It led to a close relationship with his mother and a distant one with his father, but from a young age Christopher knew that there were expectations he was meant to be living up to - expectations that his naturally gentle personality weren’t meeting, somehow. As a child, he didn’t speak much; he preferred to listen, to anything and everything he could, whether or not he was supposed to be hearing it.

Which is why he felt like it was a little bit his fault. He knows, realistically, as an adult, that it wasn’t, but - at the time. He heard weird noises coming from his best friend’s older sister’s room when he was sleeping over, and he went to investigate. It sounded like she was in pain, but she - wasn’t. Kit, at 14, was only beginning to understand sex, and most of his understanding was that he didn’t need to understand until marriage. He told his mother what happened, and she told his father, and they tried to talk to Kit’s friend’s parents, and the whole thing just got wildly out of control. Nobody was listening to Kit anymore - everyone was just arguing, all the time; his father with his mother, saying that girls couldn’t assault boys, his mother saying they could because she had, the girl’s family denying everything…

It got bad. Kit’s father started to be gone more and more frequently, and the Wilde’s name began to be whispered about, in less and less flattering terms. By the time Kit’s sophomore year had ended, Astrid had enough. She divorced Charles and moved them to her childhood home of San Francisco, and they never looked back.

Kit recognized this as an opportunity. Nobody needed to know what happened, or why they’d moved, or anything he didn’t want them to know. The gentle boy that used to hide behind his mother when introduced to a stranger was no more - in his place was a boy who at least seemed to exude confidence. A boy whose mouth worked faster and sharper than anyone else’s brain could keep up with. A boy who got want he wanted, and most importantly, was never put in a position to have something he didn’t want happen. He can admit that he was mean - some might even say cruel - but it didn’t matter, because he was in control. He even sort of had friends, or at least people who were too afraid to stand up to him, and he discovered that was just the way he liked it.

Kit made a show of flirting his way through high school, though it didn’t progress much past that until he left the safety of his constructed image, and his congregation. The further away he got from weekly mass with his mother, the harder it was to justify - not enjoying all that God’s wondrous creations offered him. If sex really was really an evil temptation, wouldn’t God have delivered him from it?

Although Kit doesn’t like to give people much credit, he finds them fascinating - hence the psychology major. While the idea of listening to people whine and complain about their insipid lives sounds like Kit’s idea of Hell, he’s interested in what makes people tick; he’s especially interested in abnormal psych and forensics. He’s interested in the whys behind society’s worst. You can’t say he doesn’t know how to read someone - he knew how to use his words long before he took the Communications major. The business major is mostly to make his mother feel like he has something ‘practical’ to fall back on.
