Guys, Vivziepop isn't actually MAKING the Homestuck pilot. She's the producer, which means her studio is making it, but she personally has basically nothing to do with it at all. I don't know what other studio you'd want to take on a goddamn animated Homestuck pilot than the studio that made the singing animated demon show so successful Amazon themselves basically bowed at their feet and gave them a deal so good it makes me question if someone got fired JUST to get the OTHER singing animated demon show on their platform

I agree with a lot of stuff about the helluva fandom joining homestuck but why are we acting like EVERY fan of helluva is straight up Satan? Sorry to break it to yall but not every helluva fan, especially every problematic one is going to join the homestuck fandom, especially since the hazbin/helluva fandom didn't seem that happy about the pilot either

Homestuck summer camp au

Homestuck is back and I've been working at a summer camp so...

Dave

Definetely has a "cool card" and want to be nonchalant about everything

He's really excited to be there deep down though and has probably been coming there for many summers

The other campers look up to him a lot and his attitude sometimes negatively affects the group (sometimes positivity too though when he can keep a cool head in stressful situations)

He back talks like crazy though and the counselors want to strangle him by the end of it

Camp is truly his home and the only place he feels safe. He's there every single week of the summer and everyone knows his name.

Maybe by the end of the summer he loses his cool card a bit and starts coming out of his shell more

Jade

All love, but she is a hot mess camper

Her cabin and bed are a wreck, clothes everywhere, bag looks like its exploded many tripping hazards

The kid that forge5s things constantly and leaves her water bottle everywhere but in her bag or hand

Loves arts and crafts and is decked out in friendship bracelets

By the end of the week she's made a bracelet for everyone else

Other kids are probably a little nervous around her and think shes weird, but counselors think she's super cool

She also loves the high adventure stuff and would excel at high ropes and climbing, the kind of kid with no fear

As an older camper she would have a ton of camp spirit and be so hype about every song and activity

Rose

She's not too cool for camp like Dave, but she is to cool for the other campers

Her sarcasm and attitude would definitely be a problem (both frustrating and funny for counselors)

All she wants to do all day is knit and read in her cabin, at every other activity she is asking to sit out to read

She talks to the adults more than the kids and is bossy, always kicromanaging and repeating rules to other campers

Has trouble being silly, but it's really good for her when she does- you can tell how happy it makes her to get to be a kid

John

Mega camper, also here every week he can be like Dave

Very emotional though

He'll spend the first half crying because he's homesick and the second half crying because he's going to miss camp

Very in tune with other campers and wants to make sure they feel welcome and included

Loves his counselors and is very clingy, he'll send them all letters once he goes home

Really enjoys camp games and has a ton of energy and spirit

Probably gets hurt a lot and is covered in bandaid lol

He will definitely come back to be a counselor one day

If people like this I'll do more characters!
