I would like to start with my last adventure which was at the Bald Strawberry in Melbourne, FL. During my weekend off, I like to travel to areas in FL to see if I can happen to find some new gluten free spots. 

I happen to find the Bald Strawberry on google as I researched gluten free restaurants in the local area. Let’s just say this place is a definitely a gem and great spot if you spending your day at the beach.

Walking in - the restaurant is a small cafe with small plates of delicious GF waffles. Main dishes involved Pizzas & Sandwich which feature their star item, GF waffles.

My choice was pizza “ Buffalo Chicken”- one because as having celiac disease.. your choices in finding good pizza are slim to none. So I decided to give waffle pizza a try. Let’s just it was like biting into a dream. If you LOVE buffalo sauce and cheese - this one is for you <3 

They also had desserts, salads and vegetarian options.

So next time, when your in Melbourne - give the Bald Strawberry a try!

The Start of the Journey..

For my mission to find some delicious, delectable, and delightful gluten free food started about five years ago. Five years ago I was a senior whom was attended F.I.T in NYC who was just diagnose with celiac disease. Being someone who always had a passion for food - I decided not to let having celiac disease define me. I decided from that day forward to hunt down some good ass food with someone whom loved food as me, my boyfriend.<BR>
