Idk what you mean by Seeker, I assume it’s another IF, but nah he isn’t a special OC/Self insert. As I’ve said many times, Johnny is meant to frustrate and annoy and make you feel useless, his entire character is to get an emotional response from you, the reader, so that you hate him on every route. And from what it looks like it’s working. Don’t worry, he’ll take a solid L from Ares at several points but not quite yet.

Johnny didn’t manipulate Dame, the two of them really are in love. Dame was single for a few years before they joined Jackie, but literally the same night they joined Jackie they also slept with Johnny and started dating him. And spoilers about if they keep things from Ares 😊

What if we make ares more like their sister athena? Would Jackie and Riley feel confused if they mistaked them because both were War Gods?

Each god feels different to each god. So for one god Ares feels like being watched in a crowd, you know you’re a target but can’t find your soon-to-be attacker. For another Ares feels like a cage you’re trapped in as a fire burns closer, the bars are too hot to touch.

If your Ares acts like Athena then they won’t think they’ve mistaken, they’ll know you’re still Ares because you feel like Ares to them. But they will make note of you being more strategic, just another tool they can rely on you using.

What would Jackie &/or the other gods have done if Ares had managed to become a world famous boxer instead of a struggling local one?

Probably nothing, it was kinda fate that MC stuck around NYC as long as they did. If they were world famous then they wouldn't have found out that MC was Ares, pictures/videos wouldn't have made them clock Ares. They would have at best gone "Oh that person fights kinda similar to our dead buddy." and moved on. Gods have to be near each other in person to feel another god.

The only person who actually likes boxing in the gang is Riley, but they're too busy to catch any games in person. Absolute best case scenario is that MC has a really big game and Riley has a day off (unlikely) and decides to spend it going to a boxing game instead of whatever else they want to do (Unlikely), at which point honestly... MC would have just been straight up kidnapped if Jackie couldn't somehow manipulate everything to going as the plan she wants. It would have been messier. most likely MC would just live their life however you think your MC would

The way Serval looks at you sometimes is unnerving, sizing you up like you're her next meal, and honestly, that doesn't sound so bad.

Enochian is the team's resident bookworm and occultism analyst; they're the one usually making sure nobody gets their head chewed off by whatever demon decides to cause chaos, but if you manage to snag a sample for them without dying? Oh, they'll love you. Enochian isn't the meek bibliomaniac most think them to be; they aren't afraid to get down and dirty, only if it benefits them.

If you don't mind answering and it's not going into spoiler territory, how different is Harper's route as ex-friend vs ex-lover?

Its kinda tough to say. I feel like other than the obvious they do kind of still feel very similar. Its been 5 years since you last saw them.

Generally Harper would interact about the same. No matter what Ares/Harper were close, they were the only friend who not only gave Ares a chance, but actively chose them time and time again, despite being able to get friends who were more chill. Harper always had a crush on you, even if you don't romance them/if they were friends in the past. That can't be helped, sorry.

So interactions in the past don't change a hell of a lot, other than some obvious flirting/kissing in the past if you were with them. (we'll get more into it in the chapter, there's a choice to have never kissed/had sex with Harper even if you dated them. Which is easy to code since I'm already doing the just friends route, I doubt I'd have to write anything extra for it really, just change a variable.)

As for interactions in the present/future, I do have some things, especially if the Ares you play is a jealous one. But its been 5 years. What they did is something that would affect a friend-Ares, dating-Ares, or situationship-Ares. Mostly when Ares reconnects with them its not going to be an easy process no matter what route you went. I'm trying hard to avoid spoilers lol, so sorry if its not a good explanation.

A figure steps into your view, looming over you and staring down at you. Watching as your life leaves you. You can’t make out many details, on account of your rapidly leaving life. Their skin is pale, practically paper white, and is framed by inky black waves of hair that spills down and over their shoulders. It looks a bit matted and damp, strands sticking to their forehead either from sweat or blood. Standing out against their skin is the crimson smear across the bottom half of their face, staining their pale skin red and dripping down their neck and clothes. A grin sits amongst the red full of teeth stained in much the same way as it stretches across their face. What little bit of light there is, catches the glint of four long canines that stand out menacingly as if they crave to be used. It seems like they already have been. You know this person. You know her. She is your end.

Wraithbound is an weird west interactive fiction game, where you play as a person who has lost most, if not all, of their memories after some kind accident that left you half dead.

After waking up in the middle of the woods, you're found by two people and taken to the town of San Arima to tend to your wounds. While you're there, you slowly begin to piece together who you were and what happened to you.

The Doctor

Edward/Edith Hayes (m/f) is one of the two that found you in the woods when you first awoke. E is optimistic, kind-hearted, and a bit timid. They strive to see the best in people and help who they can, even if it causes them to ignore the signs of danger around them.

The Witch

Sloan Ash (m/f/x) is the other of the two that found you in the woods when you first woke up. Sloan puts on an air of confidence, sarcasm, with a touch flirtation. A person who doesn't seem keen to stay in one place, yet seems to stay anyway.

The Deputy

Azael/Azura Herrera (m/f) is the deputy to the sheriff of San Arima, a man they were once proud to serve under. However the past couple years the sheriff has changed. Suspicious dealings and odd orders, something is going on that they are being kept out of and they will figure out what.

The Conman

Leonard/Lilith (m/f) is a relatively new addition to the town of San Arima. L is person who claims to be an "entrepreneur" who always ends up on the winning end of any endeavor they take, less so those they work with. They've said that this town is ripe with opportunity, for what isn't exactly clear.

The Widow

Morgan Faulkner (m/f/x) is a magus-hunter, a type of bounty hunter that specializes in dealings with the supernatural. Roughly 3 years ago, they lost their partner and spouse with no word or warning. Now Morgan has found their way to San Arima and they seem to want you dead, claiming you're just a monster wearing the face of the one they love.

If Ares wanted someone to come with them to volunteer at a animal shelter, who would be down? Is anyone like animals equals gross? Who is already volunteering?

Nobody is already volunteering (kinda)

Riley: Would not go, their schedule is far too busy. If Ares insisted then they'd make time but it'd be a one time thing. More likely they'd just donate a lot of (stolen) stuff so the staff can allocate resources elsewhere. If its important to Ares, then they'd make it a habit of doing this, maybe once a week with a handful of different shelters.

Franco: It would be something to do. He'd go for that reason alone, he's a bit uncomfortable around animals. Bitter memories. So he'd go and do his job, not complain, but if your Ares was attune to his emotions and just generally knew him, they'd be able to realize he just wasn't vibing with it. So he'd keep going if asked, but only if asked. Honestly he'd probably be the best volunteer as he'd do his job quick, efficient, and be unafraid of getting his hands dirty.

Sigourney: She'd go for the activism of it, but would not enjoy it in the least. I think she's too stressed already and there's a solid 75% chance she'd get home after and have a panic attack about the animals, and would probably end up adopting a low-maintenance animal like a cat (If Ares/Sig didn't volunteer at a kill shelter, she would adopt from one to save an animal from dying.) Only to do a lot of research post-getting the cat, and realize that they kind of need a buddy, and end up getting two. And then drop off automatic feeders/litter box cleaners. She would NOT adopt a kitten as she would have an even worse panic attack about not being a good enough cat-mom.

Dame: Depends on the shelter. They'd love going to like a cat shelter, but they wouldn't help, just going around petting cats, and then laying on the floor next to the ones who don't want to be pet. Parallel playing with them, essentially. They wouldn't like a dog shelter.

Rebel: This is the (Kinda) from the top. They don't volunteer, but they'd be down to try. They already take in animals who don't have a home and aren't doing good on the street. (Like if they see a feral dog who's eating well they'll leave it alone, but one obviously starving they'd take in) So they'd be the one who enjoys it the most. That being said they'd either adopt/steal their favorite, so don't take them too often.

Harper: Would insist on not going, would pull out every excuse in the book. It's a lot of work and they've never had a pet before, Animals feel a bit unsanitary to them, plus it'd be a workout. If Ares somehow convinced them then they'd only really do the least dirty jobs. (Feeding the animals, playing with them if the shelter does that, stuff like that. They wouldn't clean up... waste, or bathe them.) At the end they'd feel fulfilled and would promise to do it again, only for the cycle to repeat from the start.

Some words before you play and TRIGGER WARNINGS: Most of those will only be active in the game due to a specific choice made by player! Due to the cult enviroment, the “typical” homo/trans/bi/a-phobia, sexism, abuse. Also blood and needles (with the option to be scared of needles so it won’t be shown), sexual abuse (only after two very clear warnings in game). Birds are only used in symbolism, basta.
