I've mostly moved to discord. If you wanna write i have all my characters available there and shit I'll still answer asks, but after the past few years and the hate that i've gotten, I just don't see the point in actively engaging on tumblr. Discord is safer for me mentally. Messaging @ghost-hosts if you want my discord.

everyone loves to say they support people with trauma until you're traumatised in a way that makes you weird and unappealing to normal people's fragile sensibilities
you're supposed to just occasionally look out of a window with a twinge of melancholy like the sanitised version of trauma people see in movies, not have inconvenient triggers or strange behaviour or weird kinks or fucked up thoughts or anything like that

Of course Tal obeyed as Solanine invited him to step closer. Surely you’d find Unseelie and the like in the wilds who didn’t share the ADMIRATION AND AWE for the god who’d ruled them for an eternity, but he couldn’t help his own bones singing in the very presence of him. Solanine’s sheer presence pulled on ancient strings deeply burried from the world, but it couldn’t belie Taliesin’s growing suspicions.
❛❛I didn’t notice❜❜, the fae admitted quietly, the voice hoarse from barking commands. Sensing the lingering of cold where Solanine’s fingers had tended to the wound and bowing his head slightly. ❛❛Thank you. I am… glad to see you are unscathed. Not that I expected otherwise.❜❜ Without lifting his head, he stole another glance at the other. Despite making short of their enemy, Solanine appeared to be drained. AN UNUSUAL SIGHT, but then again, events had come thick and fast since last night.
❛❛The Hunt is awaiting your instructions, if you feel like it. As of now, we’re leaving no survivors – unless you tell us otherwise.❜❜ His eyes darted towards the seelie queen, narrowing subtly. // @godsoftherealm

The three siblings huddled together quietly, hiding each other’s tears of relief. The old gods were tired, and it was easy to see the exhaustion. Titania lifted her head, feeling her Unseelie husband’s hand on her back and leaned back into him closing her eyes, as he tenderly held her, “Shh...” he whispered in her hair brushing away her tears.
Solanine looked at the pair longingly, and moved to sit down, his true form frosting the ground as he wiped his own tears as Erramun smiled quietly, “They can rest now... our fallen siblings can rest.” He patted Solanine’s head as he nodded, shoulders relaxing as his eyes closed.
“I know. I’m just so tired now.” he whispered softly, eyes fluttering as his furs and armor slipped, the armor melting slowly. “I’m so tired....” he breathed out, as Erramun nodded, stepping away to give the former king time to rest. Holding his glamour for so long... thousands of years.
It was silent until Solanine noticed Tal, and smiled waving him closer, “You have a cut...” he mentioned softly, reaching out to pet his cheek, closing the wound with a thin layer of frost, letting silence settle between them in the warm night air of the seelie court.
—— AT THE SIGHT of the three siblings, dread and awe immediatly spread across the seelie fae and it didn’t take long until the Wild Hunt broke down the pathetic rest of resistence they’d met after their intrusion. Bodies paved the ground and sounds of pain and anger filled the air. Taliesin had was unscathed by the confrontation but a small slash on his jaw that he hadn’t even noticed yet.
But what he noticed in return was the confusion spreading amongst his own rows at the words their king addressed them with. He couldnt help to feel the same way and not without a hint of… MAYBE SUSPICION? Call it what you wanted, maybe it just seemed to outlandish to him – just as the seelie queen selling her own court out. Something about this didn’t sit right with him.
Tal made sure his hounds would go through the injured scattered across the property and end every Seelie amongst them, before Gabriel waved for him. Blood covered his armor as he joined him and the other advisors, red droplets even to be found on his face and hair as they approached the king. Taliesin’s eyes fixed on Solanine and his DEVASTATING BEAUTY that emanated a vibe that was strangely off, considering the meek expression on his face. Tal was quick to school his features and hide his thoughts. He wanted to listen to what the three had to say about this.

There was a small purr from the fae, “I don’t mind it too much. I like being near you to keep you safe.” he admitted, “It’s easier to move in the dark without getting hurt.” he admitted truthfully, tilting his head just a bit with a gentle grin. “I’m okay as I am. And you are no trouble.”
He gave a sweet smile, even if his teeth were sharp it was easy to see he just cared for having the other safe.
He nodded slowly. “Thank ye, then. Sorry ef I’m trouble, uhm-” Cam wiped at his eyes, not sure why he was getting emotional about this. “Sorry.”
It’s touching when someone frightening who you don’t even know that well changes themselves for you, while all others in your life have always insisted that it was you who needed changing.
“Uh- d'ye like livin’ under th'bed? ‘cause- I could get ye yer own bed, ef yed rather?”

Solanine nodded listening intently, “Home realm or not... I’ll welcome you...” he admitted, towering at almost seven feet if only short by mere inches. “We typically call you halflings... and your descendants would be called Cursebreakers.” he explained, the unseelie king would not hide information that was sought. “It can be.... odd. Most Halflings don’t stop aging, but there are some that do. They’re hard to come across now....”
His black feet brushed over the grass leaving frosty foot prints behind, black and blue lips quirking as his blind eye and vivid blue eye looked at him for a moment, freckles on his skin looking almost like snow flakes.

“You should be more careful where and when you tread.” Solanine commented, covered in a thin spider silk shirt, almost transparent as he stroked the fur cloak he had draped over his lap. Long gold and silver braids fell over his shoulder as he looked up, raising a brow to gaze upon the stranger. “Tell me… what brings you out this far and deep into the woods. Surely you realize you are no longer on your home realm…”
The fae stood, silver hair falling down as he walked closer, “You may call me Solanine.”
The man is young, or rather, he appears younger than he is. Stiles is nearly thirty, but appears a decade younger. He had stopped aging so young, and started his journey of self discovery at twenty five. I had taken five years to discover his mother had fae heritage. That it had been more prevalent in him.
“It’s not where i grew up, but it’s technically my home realm, I suppose.”
He looked at the fae before him, but didn’t give his given name. He knew they held power.
“You may call me Stiles. I can barely pronounce the true name anyway.”
He watched Solanine for a few moments.
“My mother was the child of a fae and a mortal. And I…I seem to have stopped aging a decade ago. So, I’ve come here in hopes of learning who and what I truly am.”

Titania was more forward than most fae, avoiding getting messy with trickery and manipulation. Though sometimes with mortals it was fun, but with immortal beings she tended to err in the way of caution. She had her eyes on Hale for a while, observing him through the centuries before finally finding a time to talk with him. It was a quiet day at an art museum, most of the employees were asleep on their feet or near to it and the wings were quiet, Titania had approached him, footsteps light upon marble as she ghosted by to sit beside him, looking up at the painting. “It was a beautiful time...was it not?” she asked of him, black hair held in braids cascading down her back as she wore a tight black and red gown that hugged her figure firmly, leaving little to the imagination.
“My name is Titania.” she added after a moment, “And I have an offer for you.”

Solanine was wandering in a frozen glen, one of the few times he left the Realm anymore was to exist in one of the unspoiled lands that the fae occupied in the world. This one was well off the beaten path, and the snow only made it a bit more difficult. Solanine was wading in the frigid waters of the waterfall when he heard noises, he turned to look over his shoulder a brow raised a bit more out of surprise than anything.
His silks were still draped around him though soaked, he didn’t really care. He couldn’t feel cold the same way anyway.
