Prompt #1 - Submerged

She laid there. The darkness was all around her. At first look, one might find it comforting. All quiet. All calm. Laying in the darkness with no sense of heaviness. No sense of space. It was simply… just it. Nothing. At least it was nothing at first. Devika knew this place. Very familiar with it, actually.

I’m Korah Awandah. Daughter of Chandra Awandah. Sister to Khuma, Quikeh, Mayah and Tajha. And I love them all. I will see them again. I’m Korah. Korah. Korah. Korah Awandah.

Her golden eyes stared up… at nothing. The darkness that seemed to wrap around her like a blanket but so so cold and distant. She didn’t really know why she was here. She only knew that in that white room… Whenever her eyes closed. She was here.

She took a deep breath, closing her eyes, enclosing herself further into the darkness. Korah? Why did that seem familiar? Noo... It wasn’t quite right. Kayah? Khandra? Why did she always end up drowning in this strange place? Ripples reached into her ears. It had ended and began. The calm before the storm had gone away. And the rolling storm was here. Water rose up from below her body, its touch cold and dark, reaching up to grasp her, to hold her down.

She couldn’t move. She couldn’t help but feel the thrill of fear running along her spine and her racing heart as her body’s instincts kicked in. It wanted to survive. Though, her mind… simply laid back. Unfaltering. Blank. It knew all was hopeless. It knew this pattern for it had gone through this strange dream over and over.

The water slowly rose, gripping its hold on her down. She remembered knowing herself when she came here. But now… What was it? What had she been trying to tell herself? The water rose, tickling her at the corner of her eyes and lips.

A silent scream pierced the veil as the dark water submerged the now unknown and forgotten young girl.

Well then! Some parts surprised me but I knew Devika didn’t have true morals when it comes to herself. She did use to be a thief, how improper! Though she doesn’t feel like she deserving of the things that’s happening within her life currently :) And uh no comment on her sadism or psychopathy...

Weekly Gathering: Campfire Stories

In the beginning of everything, where time himself was created. Jikan, or as you guys better know him as Athlyk. The Lord of Time found himself wanting company so he created two lovely daughters, very important to each other. Opposites yet same. Their names are Aidzuki and Taiyohi. Lady of the Moon and Lady of the Sun. Together they created time from their father. Night and Day. Day and Night. They were given a chance to create their own mortals to fill the empty lands with. Aidzuki created creatures of the night, Keepers of the Moon and Taiyohi created creatures of the day, Seekers of the Sun.

Weekly Gathering: Introductions

“It warms my heart to see so many gathered here tonight. Truly, it does. For being here, allow me to thank you. I am W'saheena Sheqa, Alpha to the Hoarhound Pack, and owner of this establishment. As I’m near certain you’ve heard of this gathering, or seen on the fliers that have been making their way around the city states; we set out to unite those of us that others would call ‘Tribal’. We wish to build the support needed so that none of us must suffer, or face unneeded and unwarranted strife going forward. But, do not misunderstand, we are not just here to further our own goals or to look only inwardly at ourselves. Not everyone here is of a tribe or a clan, not everyone here worships Azeyma or Menphina, Azim or Nhaama. Those of you who do not, please… Feel free to ask questions. Simply being here and showing support is wonderful, and I’m certain that everyone will answer any questions you might have. And that offer extends beyond, to everyone. Divided, we are weakened by our walls, by our borders. United, we may stand much stronger than we could prior. I, again, thank you all for being here. It makes me so happy I could weep, but for the sake of the gathering, I will not. Thank you for listening and, please, continue to socialize, my brothers and sisters.“

Tribal Linkshell Launching!

The House of Harmony is an inclusive linkshell for any tribal characters, characters that have interest in tribal roleplay, or for those that want to hang out with us! The goal of this LS is to foster a healthy tribal roleplay community on the Balmung server, and to connect characters and players with one another.

While the focus of the linkshell is primarily tribal, and therefore pertaining mostly Seekers, Keepers, and Xaela; all races and characters of all backgrounds are welcome to join in on any of the events.

There are going to be regularly scheduled roleplay events, both casual ones for members and larger community events, centered around various aspects of tribal life. These events can range from hunts to large-scale tribal exchanges. If you’re interested in helping this linkshell grow, or if you have questions, please contact one of the moderators either ingame, via discord, or here on tumblr.

The beginning of Goldvine’s history~ ^.^

Origins of the First Clan

This is a story, a legend of our origins, where our pride of the moon was found, where our souls was given a purpose that would serve us for generations to come…

In a dark place with an empty world, the Lord of Time found himself wanting company. He created two lovely daughters, equal to each other yet so opposite. One was dark skinned with dark hair and bright slitted eyes. She was vital, excitable and most importantly, stubbornly passionate. She wore a crown of light rays around her head, commanding attention whether she knew it or not. The other one was also dark skinned but not quite like her sister… Her skin was special… If you looked closely, you could see the shimmering white freckles along her skin. Some say she holds all of the stars of all universes within herself and that’s why her skin looks like the night sky. She has dark hair like her sister and white circled eyes, just as luminous as a full moon on a clear night sky. Jikan, their father, named them both Taiyohi, Lady of Sun and Aidzuki, Lady of Moon.

They were given a chance by their father to create their own mortals to live in the blessed lands, now full of life thanks to Hahashizen, Mother of Natures. Taiyohi created Seekers of the Sun and Aidzuki created Keepers of the Moon. Each group are vital to the balance of the world. Despite our differences and in celebration of our similarities, we are integral to the order of things, like Day and Night.

Aidzuki treated her children with gentleness and loving care and preferred women to oversee things for they were more connected with her, more attuned to her feelings. As a result, one matriarch was produced by her. A direct descendent of the moon goddess. This woman was the start of our history, the start of our purpose. Through her, we served Aidzuki and learned from her teachings. After many years, the sisters decided they had taught all they could and ascended into the skies to watch over us as the Sun and the Moon.

They lived in paradise until the first omen appeared, when one deity was stripped of his emotions by his betrayed followers and to this day, his unnatural state seeps darkness into the world, causing wars and destruction within our world. Though we remain strong through Aidzuki’s teachings and lessons, it is inevitable that we may end. We may scatter. We may disappear from this world.

Aidzuki will mourn for us with a crimson tear. It will fall to our world. It will create chaos, grief and pain. However, there is a hope in the wake of its powerful destruction… A seed will be planted. We will reunite. Our souls will pass onto them and live through them and they will live on in memory of our legacy and rediscover themselves.

Yay <3 I wanted to have this piece done because of Devika's experience with undertaking a trial to test herself and to find her spirit animal. She actually failed it first time she took it but succeeded on the second try!

As you can guess, her spirit animal is a hawk!!
