I have a new book! And it has a new cover! Behold, BUBBLEGUM SHOES: The Case of the Contraband Closet.

I am so excited to be coming out with my first ever middle-grade book, and to do it with this stunning cover is really special. Illustrated by Sol Salinas and designed by Michelle Cunningham, I think this cover perfectly encapsulates the fun film noir-esque vibes the book is going for.

9:48 AM. Math class. Marlowe Middle School.

Life isn't easy on the streets, er, hallways of Marlowe Middle School. Luckily, private eye Maya Mendoza never stops paying attention. She knows who is passing notes in class.
