Whether God is calling you to be a catalyst for saving someone from physical death or being a catalyst for saving someone from spiritual separation from God, when you move forward in obedience, empowered by His strength, bolstered by His power, and confident in His provision, you will see Him accomplish great and mighty works through you.

How marvelous that He allows us to participate and be the hands and feet through which He works.

“For we are God’s workmanship,” Paul reminds us, “created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). God created Esther for a purpose, just as He has created you and me for a purpose…“for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14 NIV).

Let’s Pray

Lord, I am wide open to receive Your instruction. I know that You have created me with a purpose and a plan in mind. My greatest purpose is to glorify You in all that I do. Help me to pay attention when You send me on assignment, and help me not miss it. I know I was born for such a time as this.

In order to receive grace, you must accept Jesus. Not the idea of Jesus, but the actual Jesus; the one who calls you to leave everything behind. The one who says that you must carry your cross, the one who spoke truth in the face of deceit. The Christ who clung unto a world that had let go long ago, Jesus who calls us beloved. If grace is an ocean, you must jump in!

God wants you to be blessed in every area of your life. The Bible says that Jesus came so that you and I could have life more abundantly, but it all starts in your thinking. That’s why the scripture tells us very clearly what we should be thinking about—things that are noble, right, lovely, pure and praiseworthy. In other words, when a thought comes to your mind that you’re never going to be successful, replace it by saying, “Father, You said in Proverbs that if I would put You first, You would crown my efforts with success. You said in the Psalms that You surround me with favor like a shield. You said in Deuteronomy that Your blessings would chase me down and overtake me!” That’s how you take every thought captive, one thought at a time!

Today, refuse to allow any negative thoughts to take up space in your mind. Stay on the offensive and choose to think on the right things. Fill your heart and mind with the Word of God and open the door for His hand of blessing in every area of your life!

Our natural tendencies as humans are to accumulate and withhold time and possessions, instead of to give abundantly. But the Bible says that doing so only creates an insatiable desire in our hearts to be filled with more. We are merely managers, not owners, of God’s blessings. It is indeed better to give than to receive. :) Have a great week everyone!

Seriously friends. Wait until you find someone who you can love wholeheartedly and who loves you wholeheartedly, too. Who you can chill with, laugh with, work with, live with. Who loves Jesus in a way that makes you pursue God more than you ever thought possible. And then marry that person. It’s awesome.
