How about a shout out to the people who have “ugly” symptoms like obsessing over others, having fits of rage, idolizing people, debating their validity constantly, crying over the tiniest things, depending on others for validation. 1) mind your own fucking business

2) take care of your own mental health first before attempting to dictate to others how to care for theirs

3) nothing about the human experience is binary, any attempts to simplify existence down into two categories of good or bad/right or wrong will fail because there will always, ALWAYS be someone or something that cannot be categorized. Doing this to human beings is oppressive.

4) what nourishes the lily drowns the cactus. your wounds heal differently than others. respect that other people know their needs better than you do, and stop trying to change peoples needs when they don't suit yours.

That fascist posting pictures of her Jewish coworker to a Nazi chat and saying “yes I want to genocide them for being Jewish and doing gender wrong” is why I have a hard time taking people seriously when they say “firing Nazis just shows you how little rights workers have!” Which workers are you talking about here? Which are you prioritizing?

I’m of the opinion nobody should be fired for opinions, because there IS some truth to the “this says a lot about worker’s rights” argument (and unlike with da fash, there are literal laws on the books banning commies from certain civilian professions). It sets a bad precedent.

But if you’re going to tell your Nazi friends online about how you want to genocide a person for being nonsexually awkward at a holiday work party or asking you politely where you got your sweater, you’re endangering fellow workers and you’re a class traitor.

There is a new non profit called We Da People. Its black youth, female run, and it’s goal is to provide resources to the black community. They are planning on traveling all over the US this summer and are going to provide education and resources to neglected communities.

This isn’t an easy feat, nor it it a cheap one.

So apparently a lot of Twitter users are jumping ship and coming here (which is hilarious) and I’ve seen a lot of “welcome to tumblr” posts going around (also hilarious)

But I don’t think I’ve seen a single one address how clout works on this app. Namely that it doesn’t exist. There’s no verification system. There’s no way to check how many followers someone else has. You can have 5 followers or 500,000 and no one is going to care either way.

Also, simply being on tumblr negates any clout you may have elsewhere. Taylor Swift uses this app. No one cares.

Texas Republicans are now trying to pass Bill SB1646, which would remove transgender minors from parents who affirm their gender and support them getting proper transition care.

I repeat, they are trying to criminalize parents supporting their trans children and make it legally child abuse, and a removable offense
