Random Tangent

Currently doing research on school 💀 in the United States! (I have no idea how the censorship works on here.) I wanted to visibly see the stats on what school level/types have higher 💀s, total 💀 per year, laws changed around the subject, consequences for perpetrators/subjects, and I wanted to see the effects of grief as I am a 1st year psychology major although this little project isn’t for school but for curiosity.

I’m starting at 1995 and going through year by year to see details to make sure I don’t miss anything. Although I was curious about the first documented school 💀 so I checked that out. (1764) And for the record, no, Im not completely relying on wiki. I mean, I am for the 90s only because I can’t think of other sources other than youtube, possibly. I just started researching this. There are so many questions I have that I want answered.

Anyways, I just got done reading all of the incidents that are summarized on Wiki for 1995-1999 and so far the craziest one was where a 30-year-old man hired a 23-year-old man to 💀🔫 a 15-year-old girl because she was pregnant with his child. What the heck. This happened on a bus too and the bus driver was 🔫 injured. Only the girl and her baby passed and good on wiki or whoever added the entry for considering the baby as their own person. However the incident was on there twice by accident and I almost jotted down an extra person that 💀.

Speaking of almost accidentally jotting down an extra 💀, in the section for the 1999 massacre, they counted someone who passed in 2025 or 2024 (I wasn’t paying attention to that part) that was previously injured in that case. So, when I was jotting down the total, I almost counted them and I felt it would be inaccurate to add them to it.

Anyways, that’s it for now. i’m still debating on if I want to add this all to a word document or not because so far I’m just writing it all into my composition notebook.
