you both start off as friends, like best best best friends even though everyone thinks you’re together

the two of you always brush it off as impossible because ??? you’re best friends ??? it’s just weird

right??

and you are Just Friends, apart from one teensy little thing

you have the biggest crush on him

but of course you can’t tell him that so you just suffer in Silence

ned loves to tease you because he knows about your lil crush and tries to tell you that peter likes you back

“y/n, he literally gets a mini heart attack when you get a paper cut”

“i do the same when he does! it’s because we’re friends”

“you are literally in love with him”

“oh my god i am aren’t i” and you realise that what the fuck?? you love peter parker with every atom of your body

or the other thing where you’re talking and sometimes you catch him staring at your lips and suddenly you’re waving your hand in front of his face

“peter, have you been listening to a word i just said?”

but then all of a sudden he gets really distant and he’s changing

he can barely hang out with you or ned anymore and sometimes he’ll show up with bruises

and you’re on the verge of tears because who dares to lay a finger on peter who wouldn’t hurt a FLY even if he had to

and he just brushes it off like “i just walked into a door don’t worry about it”

and he’s falling asleep in lessons which isn’t like his nerdy, enthusiastic self at all so you get super worried

one day you’re walking down the school halls with peter and there’s a wet patch that you don’t see so, like the clumsy person that you are, you fall

but before you land with an embarrassing thump, peter catches you with such reflexes that makes your eyes widen

well, that and the fact that when you grip his arm to stead yourself, all you feel is pure muscle

that was definitely not there before, peter hates working out so you’re incredibly confused

one study session, you bring up how busy he is all the time and he blurts something out about a Stark Internship which he’s been doing for like a month

“you’ve been doing it for this long and didn’t think to tell me??”

needless to say you are pissed

“i was going to but it slipped my mind!”

“didn’t know you were too busy to keep your best friend up to date”

and it’s really tense and he looks so pained that you want to just forget about it

but you’re still angry and so you get up and pack your bag

“i’m going home i have stuff to do”

“y/n, please listen i’ll explain”

“should have done that a month ago” and then you walk to the door, about to open it but before you can, your hand becomes immobile

looking down, you gasp when you see your hand is trapped against the doorknob with some silvery stringy stuff

“peter, what the fuck is on my hand right now and how did it get there because i can only think of one explanation right now and if you’re actually spider-man i’m going to kill you”

“uhm”

“get it off me!”

so he gets some scissors and is cutting away the web and his face is really close to yours while he does this and all you can think about is the the fading bruise on his cheekbone

once the web is off, you fold your arms and just glare at him

he just starts spitting out apologies and explaining himself and how he got bitten by a radioactive spider and suddenly has all these powers

but the only thing running through your mind is how he’s constantly putting himself in danger and he didn’t tell you

“finding out you can climb up walls all of a sudden is a little bit of a transition and i’ve just been so— oh my god are you crying, why are you crying?”

you’re standing there just sobbing at this point because you’re just so scared for him

“what else am i meant to do? i just found out that the stupid, stupid boy i’m in love with is a fucking superhero who’s risking his life for the sake of helping people so i think i’m allowed to cry, peter”

“you—what?”

he just stares dumbfounded and you’re like oh shit you just confessed to your best friend whilst you’re SOBBING

“nothing, i said nothing”

“you’re in love with me?”

he looks so taken aback and frozen on the spot that you just blink

and then his face breaks into the purest smile to ever exist on planet earth which of course makes your heart do a backflip against your rib cage

yeah, he has that kind of effect on you

and he’s moving closer with a little bit of a blush dusting his cheeks

“you better not be lying because otherwise it’s going to be really awkward if i do this”

and then he kisses you and you feel like you actually have been thrown into the sun because his lips are warm and scorching against your own ones

and pretty soon you’re making out heavily and your hands are in his soft hair because you’ve always wanted to thread your fingers through it

and while you’re all over each other, suddenly aunt may walks in

“oh my god, i am so sorry, i’ll be leaving now, uh, h-have fun?”

and you spring apart just to see her smiling to herself as she quickly disappears behind the door

but not before she mutters a “finally”

“that couldnt have been more awkward than it just was”

and peters just like i beg to differ

“actually it could have been. i could have said i didn’t love you back but i do so…”

and then like the soppy wet dish cloth that you are, you start crying again

so peter starts freaking out again

“is that not what i was meant to say oh my god please don’t cry”

and then you say that “no you idiot it’s because you love me and i love you and what if something happens to you when you’re doing superhero stuff and you die?!”

and he just laughs at this which makes you frown

“i won’t die on you, y/n. i promise”

and he holds out his pinky as a promise which you grasp with your own

“i’m holding you to that peter because if you die then i am so going to kill you myself”

so i’ve done some thinking after seeing endgame last night. i can’t help but feel that peter from this moment on will have feelings of self-resentment and constantly feel not good enough to be a superhero.

hence why in the ffh trailer, he just wants to leave the suit behind. he will always question if he’s doing justice to tony and his legacy. peter will wonder if he should even be alive. that maybe if it were him instead, things would be better.

he has to really stand up and do things on his own for once and that terrifies him. he wants things to go back to normal but he knows in his heart that won’t happen. he has little no guidance compared to spiderman: homecoming and fears that he’ll mess something up.

far from home will 100% feature a different peter parker and honestly guys, i don’t think we’re anywhere near ready.

ok so, i’m just gonna rant lol.

i love chan so so much, he’s my bias in stray kids and he is 👌🏾 this close to becoming one of my ults but his hair in the 3racha stage was not it.

chan is literally the most kindest, cheerful and respectful person and to see him get so much hate really makes me sad. and the fact that chan has twitter/tumblr or any other social media means that he can read all the hate he is getting from international accounts and fully comprehend it.

why do hairstylist keep doing this??? it’s happened so many times before, like with lisa, yoongi, bobby and others.

i know the artists have no say in what the stylist does but stylists and companies should know by now that whenever and idol has these hairstyles, they receive hate.

i’m not cancelling chan, and people genuinely shouldn’t cancel him over something he didn’t have a say in. i’m sure he’s going say something in one of his lives and maybe apologise or explain himself so let’s just wait and continue to support him, 3racha and stray kids.
