Thinking of passing on the one single suit i own (wore once and have only kept in case of wedding or funeral)
And am returning to thought(s) i havent really focused on when thinking about my gender...
While 'masculinising' biomedical transition has been very affirming and i desire to have/feel 'myself' in having a stereotypically masculine appearance bodily
Its almost the opposite with clothing and the older i get the more clear i feel in that. That it is accurate to me to describe typically masculine clothing as un- or anti- affirming... idk if affirming is my preferred word here...
Which this isnt a new realisation i think its just one i need to be more firm in. Ive kept a handful of 'guy' clothes for semi-formal or formal events but i think i should listen to my gut feelings and get rid of them...
Think i would feel better taking the risk of presenting honestly than dressing masc out of social obligation...

The bitter reality that the entire world is living is that the media and social media outlets all focus on trivialities and matters that are not important in order to hide the truth of what is happening on the ground in Palestine and Gaza. Just a short video of a little girl crying because she heard a sad song has garnered millions of views, while what is happening in Gaza is not of interest to anyone.

Sometimes in conversations about prison abolition, folks will talk about serial rapists and say (either explicitly or implicitly) that they think rapists should be imprisoned despite all the things wrong with prison because
they think that it will keep people safe from them
they think rapists deserve to be raped in prison
To address the first, I want to highlight the word “people.” We know that rape happens in prisons. We know it statistically, we know it from news stories, and we know it culturally so deeply that there is an entire genre of rape jokes about people being raped in prison. So when you are saying that sending rapists to prisons will keep “people” safe, what you mean is that it will keep free people safe, and instead further endanger incarcerated people. We need to depart from the denial that allows us to believe that when someone is incarcerated they disappear, that the social problems cease to exist when people are arrested. Incarcerated rapists still exist, they are still interacting with people, and if anything the highly controlling and abusive nature of prisons is an extremely amplified version of the rape culture that free society deals with and further enables sexual violence.
To address the second, I want to really unpack what this means to ideologically condone rape as a punishment. To believe rape can be used as a punishment means that there is such a thing as justifiable rape. That rape as an act is a neutral tool that can be used in the service of justice. That rape is something only morally wrong when used in the wrong circumstances. You need to understand that this idea is fundamentally in line with rape and abuse culture. The ideology that sexual violence is an acceptable tool of control is literally rape culture and rape apologism. If you are advocating this idea, even if you’re a survivor yourself, you are furthering the ideology that oppresses and endangers all of us.

HANA YAGI 'Sanguine Bride' Collection 2024 if you want to support this blog consider donating to:ko-fi.com/fashionrunways This collection was created by reconstructing wedding dresses and white kimono that had been rented out at wedding halls and then discarded due to damage. In Japan, there is a story that one of the reasons why wedding dresses are white is to express a woman’s purity and innocence and her intention to be dyed by the family she marries into. The dresses were deconstructed, reconnected and dyed with the intention of challenging the patriarchal norms of the wedding ritual. Once dead, the wedding dresses are reincarnated, brought back to life by letting blood flow through them.

Deadline 20 August
Subject: Collecting the rest of the amount of my father's operation
Current process:
USD 2,850 / $3,550
Vatted by @90-ghost
Vatted by @sar-soor
Vatted by @fairuzfan
Because of your kindness, my father was able to have the urgent leg surgery he needed after his painful fall. We used every dollar of the $700 we raised to pay part of the cost, but we still face a heavy burden. With the remaining $300 plus a 40% withdrawal fee, we now need a total of $700 to cover everything.
In Gaza, where every medical step feels like an uphill battle, your support has already been a ray of hope in our darkest days. Please help us reach this final amount so my father can recover in peace, without the worry of unpaid hospital bills. Your donation no matter how much can be the last step that allows him to heal and walk again.

My name is Noura Al-Dahdoh, I am 37 years old, and I work as a medical practitioner at Al-Sahaba Medical Complex in Gaza City. I am a mother to four children: Obeida (17 years old), Farah (15 years old), Aya (14 years old), and Mohammad (7 years old). Today, we live under the constant threat of danger, facing a slow death every day in the midst of a war that has left us with nothing.
My husband lost his job after his training center, " Development House Center " which was our only source of income, was destroyed. We used to live a simple life, raising our children on hope, hard work, and goodness, but the war took everything from us—our home, our livelihood, and even our peace of mind.
Every day, my children ask me: "When will we return to school? When will we eat the things we love? When will we feel safe?" I have no answers. I can only hold them and promise that better days are coming, even though I can barely believe that myself.
We are not asking for much. We just want to live. We want to protect the lives of our children, to have access to food, water, and medicine, and to restore the dignity that has been lost beneath the rubble.
General Spending Plan for $100,000
1. Safe Exit from Gaza
Covering the costs of border coordination, travel arrangements, and international relocation.
2. Temporary Housing & Basic Living
Securing a home, basic furniture, food, and utilities for the first months of resettlement.
3. Medical & Psychological Care
Providing urgent treatment for my chronically ill son, and therapy for my children affected by trauma.
4. Education & Integration
Enrolling my children in school, supporting their learning, and helping the family adapt to a new environment.
5. Sustainable Livelihood
Launching a small business or income project to achieve long-term independence and dignity.
6. Transparency & Emergency Needs
Ensuring accountability with reporting, legal documentation, and a reserve for unforeseen expenses.

I have a question for you
Is there still anyone with a compassionate heart who can hear our silent cries? Is there still someone in this world with a shred of humanity, wondering how we are surviving right now? If you are one of them, please don’t turn away… reach out, take action, do whatever you can to save me and my family from death and hunger. Death is drawing closer with heavy steps… hunger has torn through us, and our bodies have withered like autumn leaves.
