so all this time ive been rocking the 2019 version of simpe but i just checked out the new version updated december 2024 and bruh??? These terrain editing tools????

the hours ive toiled away hex editing road tiles, fighting with sc4 and the modifyNeighborhoodTerrain cheat... this is going to be such a game changer...

i also noticed this, not sure what it does exactly but intriguing for stories games enjoyers 👀

this version does come bundled with some external tools plastered with chris hatch's signature titty pinup ladies but simpe itself is titty-free now as far as i can tell lmao

Currently reading: Nothing unfortunatelly. I do like to read and I want to read cuz I want to learn to write, but can't get around to actually reading haha. I have also been putting off buying books and my local library has a very limited amount of books in a language I can understand.

Last song I listened to: Never Enough by Vision Video. Obsessed with Vision Video right now, so good!

Last series: Arcane Season 2, loved it

Last movie: Guest House Paradiso... Certainly one of the movies of all time, would reccomend if you like weird movies. It was great.

Currently watching: Trailer Park Boys, I think I am on season 7 now.

Sweet/Savoury/Spicy?: I love all those flavours especially combined, but if I had to pick one then 100% savory.

Relationship status: Single and wanna stay that way a while

Current obsession: Oh man, where do I start? I got into goth music some 5ish months ago and also changed my style and want to customize my clothes with embroidery and make new clothes. I have a big thing I wanna write that I have been slowly thinking through and writing down ideas for like 2 years. I have some ocs and I wanna make dolls of them and sew tiny clothes for them. I am also super into The Sims 2, that's what this blog is about and I am making a neighborhood and I wanna learn to make cc like hairs and clothes and I also plan to make face templates when I am done with the hood. I wanna learn how to 3D model and improve at drawing and use the 2 mediums together. (Taking pictures of myself to use as refernce has been extremelly helpfull!)

Tea or Coffee: Any herbal tea and any coffee that isn't black filter coffee and has some milk in it. I hate fruit tea it's too acidic.

A Little Update on SE47

Hi Simblr! I am still working on the psp,ds,gba Strangetown sub-neighborhood! I did not abandon it, but don't hold your breath!

Psp part is finished! Now it's just the gba/ds part left to do. If anyone would like to give any ideas on what I could do with the sims memories, personalities, ancestors etc., feel free to dm me. ^-^

Some Urbs Sims for the 20th anniversary

I don't have anything special for the urbs 20th anniversary, but I have these little guys lying around so I might as well show them off!

They are for my Strangetown Subhood and will be included in it when it's done. I will also be uploading an empty version and all the sims as bodyshop files, but I can't say when that will be. So I guess this is also kind of an update post.

i'm having trouble finding any information on TA7 - what is it that's available in the files?

There's possibly more, since I haven't checked every single file, but I'll share what I have because gatekeeping = booo 🍅

Who's TA7?

In short, a third ghost that would haunt the Espiritu Estate in TS2PSP. His full name is Transit Administrator #7, and he is PT9's alien friend who gave him the picture book with his first family.

What can we find out through the script?

His character/object info (appearance + description)

Dialogues from other characters that talk about him.

First of all, Emily Emory introduces TA7 to us by unused dialogue. His ghost would be in the player's bedroom.

I tried to make it as readable as possible. The text in grey is that of the player and the underlined in yellow is what is important, in case you are too lazy to read it all :)

I removed a part where Emily and the player talk about roommates, which is completely unrelated. Still, it feels like there's missing dialogue. And that is because there is! In a separate file, Emily Emory tells us more about him:

Having these conversations would unlock a secret named 'Ghostly Secret'. Its description reads: "Soldiers at Division 47 brought down an alien spacecraft and its pilot!"

TA7's remains would be found on an operation table. The interaction would be 'Pick up Dead Alien' and you'd recieve 'Alien Remains', a not-sellable item with a description that reads: "Eww. The totally gross remains of a dead alien starship pilot."

Into his character file

Strangely, his character is named 'Alien Ghost' & 'Transit Admin #7' (in separate files) not TA7 or his full name. But a similar thing happens with PT9: in the code, he is referenced as PT9 and Polytech, but his character is actually named 'Mister Smith'.

Atributes

social = -1, intimidation = -1, personality = 0,

These are also the same as Dennis Philips, Nervous Subject, the Night Beast, Beelzebeef, Tycho Curious, and every zombie.

The social and intimidation parameters determine how easy it is to chat or intimidate NPCs, and the personality parameter tells us that he would have a Fire personality. However, it might be more plausible that 0 (Fire) is the default personality.

Interests

His interests are alien, dresses, makeup, and birdbee (the latter is a generic interest). Here's a visual of those topics:

Appearance

He is an adult male alien (at least he has the alien skintone), he is bald, has the alien face archetype, wears white briefs, and ambodynaked-nude-autopsy-s5, whatever that is.

So imagine this guy with a messed up torso:

Lincoln Broadsheed and Tank Grunt would've bought his secret for a better price than usual. On the contrary, Hoot Howell wouldn't be interested in it.

I could not find unused dialogue about PT9 talking about TA7, there is only what already appears in the game:

"Alien … FRIEND … came … to … give … me … PICTURE book." "And … humans … TAKE … PICTURE book." "HUMANS … SHOOT … HIM … DOWN … AND … TAKE … HIM … AWAY!"

3. Not only is it the first time that funeral traditions are talked about, but it also mentions alien autopsies, which were also present in TS2 for Nintendo DS!!

In that game, thanks to the metal detector, you could find mummified aliens in the desert (which gives us another clue to alien funerary traditions). They could be dissected in the laboratory of the hotel's basement, and their organs could be sold, which are very highly valued.

I am kinda excited about him to be honest, but he is not Nervous Subject.

I just hope he doesn't replace my boy in the fandom. For me he is from an alternative universe where he was born instead of Nervous and they are not the same person.

Before the sims 4 gives Nervous Subject a real name, my head cannon is Orpheus Muenda or Specter. It fits the naming convention Olive and Ophelia have with having greek/roman O names and that is his name to me no matter what they call him. This name also has connections to death.

I have zero faith in anything coming out of the sims 4, still I am curious what they do with him.
