Speaking as someone who hit the 0.0025% "exciting/rare" jobs, it'll still get tedious and tough, and I often dream about being able to go home every night, have the weekends off, be home for holidays, birthdays etc.

I do love many parts of my job, and my freedom when I'm not working, but boy do I often fantasise about getting out. I think a lot of people don't realise the amount of work, dedication and sacrifice it takes to get to those "dream jobs" that'll still wear you down just the same.
