Final Photos
For my context photo I wanted my bottle to used for after exercise and cooling down. As it gives you all the healthy goodness your body needs and immunity to function. My model had just been for her run and was cooling down when she felt like a healthy shot of Spirulina.
The overall form of my bottle is kept organic to resemble how spirulina is natural and comes from the earth. Also its shape shows you how to grip the bottle and hold on to it while you shake the substances together. The side compartment holds extra powder so uses can bring more with them or add to desire. My 3D print mould had an interesting pattern on top so I didn’t sand it because I thought it brought more earthy features to the bottle. As it looks like a tree stump almost and substitutes a thumb print to show where your thumb is place.

Connex Lid Final
For my connex lid I have made a soft lid you can put your lips round and squeeze out the water. The filter inside is to contain the powder of the spirulina to mix through the water and not leave gross clumps at the bottom of the bottle.

Project 3- Water Bottles
Reusable Spirulina bottle
For this project we are asked to create a water bottle out of a form of vacuum packing or 3D printing. One of my ideas is to create a reusable spirulina bottle that encourages healthy drinking. For now my target audience is the general public as an attractive and appealing bottle may encourage more people to drink spirulina as it is really good for you.
The bottle is reusable while the lid attaches to a spirulina capsule so once screwed onto bottle the powder is released into the water to form a spirulina drink. This makes the bottle reusable while the spirulina shit is the replacement piece of the bottle. This also creates a fun way to add spirulina to your diet and very easy use. The bottle can also be used for everyday drinking for whatever the consumer desires.

Natural Sources of Spirulina
Spirulina is a simple, one-celled organism that has for centuries been used by various civilizations as a nutritional supplement. Natural sources of spirulina were a daily staple in the lives of the Aztecs during the 16th century, and research has shown it being used in Chad, Africa, as far back as the 9th century. These ancient civilizations would harvest natural sources of spirulina from nearby freshwater lakes, streams, rivers, and ponds.
Where Does Spirulina Come From?

Scientific research shows that cyanobacteria (what spirulina is classified as), was one of the first organisms to exist on the earth, as long as 3 billion years ago. The amazing thing is that this ancient strain of spirulina grew naturally, without organic fertilizers from other plants or animals.
In fact, many experts believe that spirulina played a large role in the planet's oxygen production. Further, it is thought that because of the oxygen being produced by cyanobacteria, that eventually, other life forms were enabled to develop some 2,900 million years later when the first simple life forms came into existence.

Spirulina Superfood: How It's Made Into Supplements
The term "superfood" is used to describe certain foods that are rich in phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are special types of nutrients that have incredibly potent disease-fighting properties. Examples of superfoods include blueberries, cranberries, mangos, tomatoes, broccoli, and papaya. But, if there is one superfood that rules them all, it's definitely spirulina.

Benefits of Spirulina
Spirulina often gets misclassified as an herb because of its amazing health promoting properties, but it's actually a bacteria, or a blue-green algae that's found in pristine freshwater lakes, ponds, and rivers. It is most commonly recognized as one of the world's most nutritionally complete superfoods, as it offers health benefits to practically every organ and bodily function.
Additional Health Benefits of Spirulina
• Spirulina is very high in bio-available iron, making it beneficial to those with anemia or pregnancy, with reduced risk of constipation
• Spirulina is a good source of vitamins B-1(thiamine), B-2 (riboflavin), B-3(nicotinamide), B-6 (pyridoxine), B-9 (folic acid), B-12 (cobalamin), vitamin E, and vitamin K1 and K2
• It is also a source of potassium, chromium, copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, and zinc
• It has four times the antioxidant ability of blueberries
• Spirulina is an goodsource of protein: gram per gram more so than beef, poultry, fish, and soybeans

For my material I have chosen to laser cut my model out of pine, above are the dimensions of my technical drawing.

Developing concepts
Using thumbnail stretches I was able to execute my design. Through this I found that having a ramp for my pin to be pushed down helped complete the the three movements from A to B.
