Spring Semester - April 15th

I have close to no motivation these past days, and not having internet (due to a storm) since Wednesday is not helping. I worked on my dissertation a bit, but I’m not really convinced of what I wrote down.  I’m now at my parents’ to have internet to keep on working!

January 13th, 2023 | For the first time ever since I started bullet journaling (2015 if you believe it!), I started a new bujo on January 1st and I changed my layout. I needed a fresh start from my former system. Also very happy that I found my next journal, an A5 Leuchtturm in light grey! I'm obsessed and can't wait to write again in such a notebook – first and last time I kept my daily journal in one was in 2018-2019 already!

4.11.21 | Yesterday was bad and awful, I got nothing done and was sad and angry all day. Today has been nice and productive, I’m getting through my to-do list with minimal procrastination, and might even have time to relax once I’m done.

The only conclusion I will draw from this is that sometimes things are shitty and sometimes they aren’t and I have literally no control over whether it’s one or the other.

My mood constantly affects my reading goal: whenever I plan to read a fiction I switch to a classic, vice versa, whenever I'm determined to buy a book by an author I've never read anything before, here I add some re-reads I once read and wanna get a physical copy, or a good translation of it – that's why it takes me so long to buy a book.

Cleaned my desk and took some more photos of the mountains you guys seemed to like! This time they looked pink.

i've been working on a paper for almost two years now and i'm ALMOST almost done with the final draft. i'm doing my last review and adding small things, correcting tables and images etc and then all that'll be left is the abstract and i'll be DONE with it, and probably submit it tomorrow afternoon???? i can't believe it???? the journal i'm aiming for is a difficult one so i don't know if it'll even be accepted, but i'm just so proud and grateful to finally have a final product after all this work. hopefully i'll pay out and i'll get an acceptance sometime in the future, but even if it's rejected, i'm just glad to have something to work with
