anyways this morning on twitter i found sisterly art of rin n sakura n i’ve been living for the entire day

“I’m sorry, Sakura.” Hearing those words from her lips was like the resolution Sakura hadn’t even been sure she needed, her own arms wrapping tight around Rin’s form to pull her closer. But even with the closure, pain laced her response, even if the feeling of her sister’s arms around her made her feel closer to home than she’d been in ages.

“I-It’s okay, nee-san…I know you didn’t have a choice in the matter..I just…I missed you..”

        that was it-- the tipping point. it repeated in her head, tears falling hot down her cheek. they hit sakura’s shoulder as rin soon buried her head there, holding her little sister so tightly, she might break. but she couldn’t even think about letting go, as childish as it was, there was a fear that she’d somehow go back. that she would only pass her in the hall as another student. 

        “ i-i missed you too, sakura. so much. “

          she was rin tohsaka. the heir to the tohsaka family-- she had to be perfect. no emotions to fault her, only success. it’s why she was able to summon a servant without a catalyst-- why she was chosen for the war.

     so why was she so scared ?

         the magus had been just staring at her command seals-- two left, one just a faded out mark. she wondered, would they stay faded, on her hand, after the war ? but that wasn’t the only thought. a nagging thought she’d been having for quite sometime. what if sakura is one of the masters ?

          it was likely, too much for her liking. she was a matou now ( the thought making her want to scream ! ), and they were just as a prominent family in this as the tohsakas. a hand would go up and run itself through her hair, smoothing down it for a second, before strands would fall. 

            falling back on the bed, a hand covered her eyes lazily. could she take the chance of sakura getting the grail ? she wouldn’t want it. she’s happy. that’s what rin fooled herself knows. clenching her hand around her face, she exhaled a sigh. dammit all.
