How would Constantine being stuck on hold go?

I’m stuck on hold as I’m writing this (apparently I’m 12th in line) and need to imagine someone stronger than me suffering with me.

I don't know if he'd be stronger than you! I certainly can't picture him enduring being on hold for very long, once the music loops a few too many times and the automated voice repeats how far back in the queue he is yet again, that phone is getting broken and tossed out the window

I just had to stop my coworkers and mom/boss from looking up what Homestuck is.

I guess they saw things thing called HomeStack during a meeting and were trying to YouTube it and found Homestuck, assumed it was the same thing, and were about to click on a “Ultimate Guide to Homestuck” video just as I got back from the bathroom.

A herd of old real estate people then asked me what Homestuck is.

Did not get to go to a powwow as my local org has been trying to raise money for a while, but I have been to some events to cover them for the news and I cannot tell you how nervous I was going in and then how happy I was coming out.

Mainly cause I had a bannock burger and I would kill to have one again. Literally like eating heaven. But literally everyone there is so so nice and open as long as you’re there to learn.

… also anyone got a good bannock burger recipe? I really wanna make one now that I’ve had it and JESUS I CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT!

Also I am required by law to post a picture of convicted felon Mabel. She was charged for attempted Johnsticide (I dropped one of the keychains on the floor and she tried to eat it. I stopped her. John is safe, unharmed, and mentally recovering.)

Fuckin have four ways to start this story I’m writing but not sure which one is the best and ansjshsjsjsjjsksksndjshbsksj

I’m so continuously shocked that DC has never made John Constantine and Lex Luthor interact.

John’s devoted his life to magic, he was created as an anti-society/establishment figure and came from a working class family in Liverpool. He lives to excess when he can with alcohol and tobacco and views himself as a monster half the time. He believes he is a curse to humanity.

Led is pure science and logic and the ego. He IS the establishment and the man! He was raised (in more modern incarnations) in wealth and every aspect of his life has been tailored to maintain control. Unlike John, the man is convinced he’s gods gift to humanity and refuses to see his own sins and what his actions cause.

The two are total opposites but still have a lot in common that would be interesting to explore. Both are from broken homes with abusive fathers and sisters they (usually in Lex’s case but not always) absolutely adore. Hell, in some versions they both kill their fathers!

So, why on God’s green earth, that I’ve only seen a few examples of the two interacting?!?

All we have is Dark Knights of Steel, which can be debated since that Luthor is a very different one than we’re used to and I’m basic this argument on, Zatanna mentioning if the two ever shook hands the world would end, and them standing in the same room a couple times.

I feel like the most we have to them actually interacting was in the Crisis On Infinite Earths Part 3 animated film where they have to sacrifice someone and if I remember correctly Lex is like “yeah I mean it is his fault” and John is like “yep. I agree. Lemme die.”

I’m doing what I can in my weird DC remix thing I got with my oc bridging the gap on @misscosmicofficial but I NEED something official. There’s an incredible chance for an incredible scene between these two and yet we’ve got basically nothing!
