30 Day Gemsona Challenge: Day 6 - Special Talents

In addition to her proficiency in fighting Lepidolite had 3 main abilities, consisting of natural sound amplification properties, extended storage inside her gem to store massive amounts of data to be accessed later and finally a resonating healing aura that naturally calms those in her immediate vicinity.

30 Day Gemsona Challenge: Day 3 - Background

Originally Lepidolites were a kind of servant, used to document gem kind, it’s evolution, and it’s ever expanding galactic conquest. However with the rapid expansion of technology in gem society soon the development of the Mirror made Lepidolites physical forms became unnecessary. Directly after by order of the diamond authority, all Lepidolites were to have their physical forms destroyed followed by being placed in mirrors to make access to the data they’d stored more easily accessible and for hundreds of years after they were used for that purpose alone.

Eventually gem technology advanced again, as to the point of the Mirrors being considered obsolete. The mirrors containing thousands upon thousands of Lepidolite gems were then placed into storage facilities until the time that all the data from them could be extracted and placed onto a network for more practical access. Soon after the order was issued that all mirrors were to be broken and recycled, along with the gems that were contained inside. 

Days before the order was to be carried out, a rebellious Quartz soldier opened the door to the storehouse containing the Mirrors. After a small brush with one of the commanding officers discovering such, one of the mirrors were unknowingly broken, and the curious soldier removed the gem from the back of the shattered device. Out of it came a lone Lepidolite; confused and frightened upon not being out in the world for so long. The soldier took pity on the startled gem and together crafted a plan and made a break for earth, stowing away on one of the Blue Diamond scout ships making way there while colonization was in progress. 

There, along with her newly acquired friend she slowly became to know how to be her own gem, and met two other new friends along the way.
