Angsty Knightshade: a few years ago Jaune and Blake have a one night stand. Blake leaves before Jaune wakes up the next morning. Blake gets pregnant from it, but doesn’t tell Jaune that she has a bun in the oven. Jaune doesn’t find out he has a kid until the child is about 6 years old.

Never attempted Angst before, but I’ll at least give it a shot. Though this will be rather difficult.

Eating healthy, exercising, working at a boring, yet highly-paid job, living in a cheap apartment to save up on money, left by somebody that I thought I had something special with…what a wonderful existence. *Belches* ‘Scuse me. *Sits down on the couch and turns on the television*

Lisa Lavender: Good morning, everyone. I’m Lisa Lavender, and here’re the news: The legendary team of Beacon, Team RWBY, comprised of the leader Ruby Rose, and her members Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, have successfully returned from their mission to end a human-vs-faunus war that was hidden from the public for so long until now. In other news-

*Jaune turns off the television*

Jaune (sighing): Good for them. *Slams his face against a pillow* Urp! Agh…so Ruby and her team’s made is back after being gone for a couple of years, huh? Must’ve been worth the wait… *Crosses his arms and looks up to the ceiling, frowning* …Not that I care for a certain member…

*Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!*

Jaune (internally): Rgh…I don’t wanna answer the door…

Jaune (internally): Just pretend you’re not here, Jaune…just lay low until they leave…

Jaune (internally): For god’s sake…just go away! Not that whoever’s at the door can do anything about it…

Yang: VOMIT BOY!!! OPEN UP!!! WE KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE!!!

Jaune (eyes widened): Oh shit.

Yang: YOU BETTER OPEN THIS DOOR UP OR I’M BREAKING IT DOWN ON THE COUNT OF FIVE!!!

Jaune (yelling): Go away!

Yang: C’mon, Jaune! We return from our mission and this is the “welcome back” we get from you?!

Jaune (groaning): Fine! “Welcome back, Yang! I’m so happy your team’s mission was a success! I’ll congratulate your other teammates tomorrow, but today’s not a good time!” Better?

Yang: Was that sarcasm?!

Jaune (quietly): …Could’ve been.

Yang: FIVE!!! FOUR!!!

*Jaune’s eyes widened, then runs over to the door*

Yang: THREE!!! TWO!!!

*Jaune opens the door*

Yang: O- *Eyes turn lilac* Okay, good.

Jaune (panting): What…do you want?

*Yang steps aside, showing Blake*

Jaune: …Oh. It’s you.

Blake (worried): J-Jaune? What happened with you?

Jaune: Oh, nothing much…honestly, I’ve been successful in eating healthy, I’ve been going to a REALLY boring job that surprisingly pays me super well, and here I am, living in a cheap apartment to slightly save up on cash.

Yang (looking inside): Are you kidding me?! You have potential, ladykiller! You should be living in a house! Not some messy apartment.

Jaune (looking down at himself): …I don’t care.

Yang: Well, you better start caring! ‘Cause Blake’s here and she’s got something to say!

*Jaune turns away rudely*

Blake (saddened): Jaune! I…I’m sorry! I’m sorry for leaving you!

*Jaune says nothing*

Blake (walks closer): Jaune…please…I didn’t mean to leave you…I-I love you…

Jaune (eyes closing): …You could’ve told me you had an important mission to go. I could’ve gone with you.

Yang: Actually, you couldn’t. Only me, Rubes, Weiss, and Blake were allowed access to this place and outsiders would’ve either been arrested or killed.

Blake (hugging him): The reason I didn’t want you to go is because I didn’t want you to die…!

Jaune: I have a semblance that heals me!

Yang: You. Would’ve. DIED. Even your semblance wouldn’t have saved you from being shot, impaled, beheaded, drawn and quar-

Jaune: Alright, alright, alright! I believe you, but that doesn’t make me feel better.

Blake (eyes start to water): J-Jaune…fine. If you this doesn’t make you feel better, then…I know what will.

Jaune: Hm?

Yang (yelling): GIRLS!!!

*Ruby and Weiss make their presence known, holding the hands of an adorable little girl with cat ears, then the trio walk towards Jaune, Blake, and Yang*

Jaune (surprised): Oh! Hey, Ruby! Hi, Weiss!

Weiss: Wow. For someone who looks like they’ve been exercising every day, you sure embedded yourself in living in such a low-life area.

Jaune (frowning): The rent’s cheap, Ice Queen!

*Weiss glares at him for that nickname, then the little girl speaks up*

Melanie: Mommy? Who’s this?

Jaune (raising an eyebrow): Mommy? You have a child?! *Crossing his arms* So, who’s the dad?

Blake: Yes… *Turns to Melanie* …Melanie, sweetie…this is your father.

*Jaune’s eyes widened hearing this*

Melanie (walking up to Jaune): …Daddy?

Jaune (shocked): W-Wait…father…me?!?

Blake: Jaune… *Gets closer to him* …Did you remember a couple of years ago when we had that…um… *Leans into his ear* One night stand?

Jaune: Y-Yeah?

Blake: Well, during our time on our mission, I found out I was pregnant and I suspected it was from you. The folks over in the private area also found out and were surprisingly nice enough to offer me lodging and made sure that I was taking good care of my unborn child. Nine months later, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Ruby: Yep! Blake was absent for most part during the mission because she didn’t want to put her newborn infant in danger.

Blake: Jaune…during our time in that area…every time I looked at my baby girl…it reminded me of you. It reminded me of how badly I’ve wanted to be with you during my time away. *Starts to cry* J-J-Jaune…I’m sorry for not telling you…! But I didn’t want to put you in danger! I…I don’t expect you to forgive me, but I’m willing to stay with you for the rest of my life and look after our daughter togeth- Mmph!

*Jaune kisses her on lips, causing her to freak out, but then she slowly calms down and embraces him*

Jaune (breaking the kiss): Let me ask you again, Blake…

Blake (confused): Huh?

Jaune: …Will we always be together?

Blake (smiling): …Yes. *Looks at Melanie, then back at Jaune* Yes! *Hugs him* I promise! I won’t run away!

*Jaune slowly smiles, looks at Melanie, then picks her up*

Jaune (smiling): Hey.

Melanie: …Daddy?

Jaune (hugging her): Yes?

Melanie: What was it like being away from mommy for a while?

Jaune: …A nightmare. A nightmare where there was no awakening. But today…is the day I’ve finally woken up. *Hugs Blake*

Blake (smiling): Thank you…Jaune Arc!

Jaune (smirking): Correction: That’s Jaune Arc-Belladonna to you, kitty.

Blake (blushing): …Oh…you… *Kisses his cheek*

Yang: Soooo…not to interrupt this adorable little reunion, but when’s the wedding?

Jaune/Blake (in unison): Mmm…soon. *Both notice what they’ve said, then giggle, then everybody else laughs*

Jaune: I love you, Blake.

Blake: And I love you, Jaune.

This is super important. A key House committee is voting on the Save the Internet Act RIGHT NOW and we need Congress to know that the whole Internet is watching. Watch the livestream here:

Unfortunately, telecom lobbyists have been working around the clock to try to derail the bill. Their main strategy right now is to punch it full of holes with bad amendments. So be sure to tell your rep to vote for a clean bill and oppose amendments that weaken it.

Taking action takes just a minute or two and it makes a huge difference.

The vote is imminent and we can’t afford to lose this one! If we pass the bill through the committee it will likely get a vote on the House floor next week. But if the bill is gutted through hostile amendments, then we’re back to square one.
