100 days of productivity;
2/100 - 15/06/23
started my morning doing field practice work in the caprine department, had the opportunity to apply and train subcutaneous injections on the younger ones! we applied 5mg of vitamin supplements with 0,80x25mm needles to avoid osteomalacia in the future. also sent them to a special paddock with caprine-focused selected fodder- the sunlight incidence in the leaves is higher because of their curved structure, reducing the spreading of certain types of parasites that affect saanen and boer breeds :)

spent a few hours on the anatomy lab doing practice study and revised biochemistry for my exam tomorrow at home. fun day overall!

decided to take on the challenge as motivation!

i revised (in general):
- diagnosis of epithelial, connective, cartilaginous, bone and nervous tissues through histology images;
- glandular tissue and its classifications and differences;
- morphological differences of fibroblast, macrophages, plasma and adipose cells.

studyblr intro;
hi! i'm june, new to the community :) i've always wanted to create a blog dedicated to studying, and now, 3 months after starting vet school, i finally decided to do so!
🌿🌿🌿
- about me:
im a 18 year old student from brazil, studying in the federal rural university of rio de janeiro (ufrrj). i'm starting my journey in the field now, and am still very eager to learn! im unsure about what area i want to pursue, but have been really enjoying working with small ruminants and the farm routine. my favorite subjects so far are animal anatomy and biophysics!
- my goals:
im setting up this blog hoping that i can successfully build a study routine in my academic life! im still very eager to learn since i am just now starting it, so i believe it's a great moment to use my enthusiasm to build more reliable study habits and techniques.
- hopes:
outside of what i want to work on, i also think it would be very interesting to meet other people with similar goals and study fields of mine from all around the world :) it would surely help me motivate myself and be a very enriching experience.
hope to have fun and learn lots in the years to come! ♡
