Y'all know the summer job au where Steven gets a job at the mystery shack? What if after the summer job Steven continues his road trip because dipper and Mabel went home and he doesn’t really want to stay with the weird since he literally came to gravity falls tryna get away from weirdness (he’ll totally visit don’t get me wrong) but imagine Steven ends up in echo creek and becomes friends with star and marco, this can take place before or after the magic is destroyed but honestly the magic being destroyed would make a better story because now star and Marco would be hella nervous of stevens abilities, like why does magic still exist? And they find out he’s an half alien half human hybrid and you know he will hang out with star and get a makeover with the girls, idk I just feel like no one is talking about the possibilities, he could totally meet some of the coolest people (that could exist in his universe or something/with a decent explanation for their existence in their universe) I just think there are so many things you can add to the au that just turns it into Steven literally being both the luckiest and luckiest guy alive lol

as a native oregonian. 

i would gladly wear flip flops year round if i could. i gladly wear those suckers in the rain. i wear them in winter. i wear them in the heat of summer. i wear them walking through the city and on the beach and i know i’m not the only one. it’s legit not that weird ahahah

Everybody is talking about the SU/GF AU, but I would like to contribute. I suggest that we should add Spider-Man to the mix.

Steven = Peter

Dipper/Mabel = Ned

Stan = May

Ford = Tony/Nick Fury

Connie = MJ (she’s not important, though)

Robbie = Flash (he’s also not important)

Bill = literally every villain in the Spider-Man MCU movies (Mysterio, Vulture, Electro, etc.)

•Wendy, Soos, Pacifica, and others are normal.

•The gems go back to Homeworld after Steven leaves.

•Steven can only use his Spider-Man powers when he suits up and he can only use his gem powers if he turns pink and everything. When he turns pink and wears the suit, he’s literally god, but that barely happens.

•Dipper and Mabel act the same, but sometimes they both act like Ned to Steven.

•This AU is called Spider Falls Universe. If anyone has a better name, please tell me.

•The town is still called Gravity Falls, only the AU name changed.

Peridot meets McGucket and the two braniac inventors hit it off (not w/o Peridot coming off as a bit snobbish or McGucket as a bit insane), probably build something illegal

my #take on the gravity falls universe au ting is that theyre all slightly older (like, 19 or 20, mostly cuz dip n mabel are age 20 in 2020 canonically n i think that early adulthood dynamic is v interesting and funny)

dipper is a fan of Keep Beach City Weird and knows about beach city, for sure. steven is still on his road trip of self discovery and is stopping off at allll the tourist traps so of course he pops in to the mystery shack! it just happens to be the same summer that dip and mabel are in town too

some gravity falls weirdness happens during a dippers forest tour and steve summons his shield (new cool design so it isnt his mothers anymore!) and thus begins the twins n stevens wacky friendship

he also gets a job at the mystery shack n stays in that spare room from s1e16 cuz hes been sleeping in his car for like 4 years kfdgjkfd-

I've been thinking about those Steven Universe/Gravity Falls crossovers and had a thought. Wouldn't Dipper and Mabel be around the same age as Steven, if not older as GF premiered a year before SU?
