I want you to know I am extremely ill to the point where I'm making alternative designs for a canon character. This is huge considering I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE IM SOBBING

First one is my own take on a post-AGIT Dan. To be honest I'm too attached to the usual outfit as a ghost form so I kept it mostly the same with slight changes. As for his human form, went for something a bit more darker to contrast Danny's tendency of wearing lighter colors in general. I do like to think he rebels a lot from Vlad's millionaire life hence why he really doesn't dress up like he's a rich old man's son. LOL

Second is a take on a Ghost King Dan. I like to think that in his timeline (before it was destroyed by Clockwork), he was the Ghost King which would also kind of explain why Fright Knight would serve him in The Ultimate Enemy. I had a bit of fun taking some inspo from Pariah Dark while still keeping Dan's energy...heh. The scythe was something I designed for fun too because I'm ngl I think he would be cool with one.

Maybe I'll turn those into AUs to share here but I'm still a bit shy, after all I'm just recently making more fan content rather than focusing on my OCs so who knows!

Very glad I'm not trying to have a super precise style for the lines, panels, or halftones. It's more fun to work on, and i imagine more fun to look at.

this is racist on its own but i think what always gets me about these types of posts is (and i realize this is a very surface level observation but) you never see people on here say "western live-action dramas are the high school girls in underwear medium" people will critique riverdale or pretty little liars or supernatural or the such individually but the issue is almost always attributed to the specific piece of media or the writers and not the medium as a whole despite the fact that a large amount of these examples do in fact do the same things people constantly act like are unique flaws of anime (misogyny, sexualization of high school characters, romanticization of underage characters getting with overage ones, ect.) it's all just very blatant

I think a lot less people would feel threatened by the prospect of a character being aroace if they learnt how to conceptualize and write character relationships and dynamics outside of sex and romance. Because as long as people think no longer being able to write both characters in their favourite dynamic being sexually and romantically attracted to each other means a loss in intimacy and closeness, they're going to see any aroasexuality as an attack on character dynamics they care about and get upset when characters are confirmed aroace, unless those characters are unshippable side characters they never really cared about so they never accidentally get invested in an aroace character.
