by "master doc", do you mean... you write everything (ideas, unexplored snippets) in one Word file? so when you write longer fics (not snippets), then you use a new file?

Ideas are in one doc, snippets are in another (usually organized by whether they belong to a short idea or a long idea), and then anything I seriously want to finish goes into its own doc, yup!

i really like your writings and i noticed you have SO many snippets and AUs, how do you organize them? do you use Google Docs and neatly categorize them in Google Drive or something? this is sad but my main issue with writing is i can never commit to one app, and then my writing is lost in several apps...

I get twitchy when things are unorganized, so my master doc where all my ideas lived got split up into sub headings by major relationship or verse. However, currently that doc is empty, because I released all of my ideas into the wild a couple of months ago (and once it's out, I don't bother organizing it).

I also use Microsoft Word, not Google Docs.

But I do have that problem regarding the stuff I freewrite in discord channels with the end result that most of them are left to languish in those channels for all of eternity. (@withthekeyisking-writer once went through all the channels and organized all of my discord snippets into one doc, so they're clearly the real mvp.)

This is my first whumptomber - how does it work? Do people update everyday? If so I'm excited to read but wow that's an impressive amount of writing 😳

Whumptober is a month-long challenge during October; prompts are released for each of the 31 days (plus alternative prompts if you want to switch some out). To be a Whumptober completionist you have to write something for all prompts--this does not need to be uploaded one per day, or be a separate fic/art/work for each prompt, but @whumptober will usually only reblog day 1 prompt fills on day 1, and so on.

What I usually do is open outtake requests for each of the 31 day prompts (and alt prompts, if any). These are not as long as full-length fic, and I try to finish most of my writing before October starts (to also give me time for SladeRobinWeek, and to get ready for NaNo) but I start posting in October. Just because of the way I format outtakes, it is much easier for me to post in batches, and I usually do about three batches, spread out across October.

However, a lot of people do post day 1 fics/art/gifs/etc on day 1, and so on. Either way, October is always full of whumpy fics!

I just finished re-reading "a fair thought," and I have so many (unfair) thoughts? Idk you write the tension so well, and hint at so much backstory angst. There are so many ways it could go wrong - like what if Ra's *did* manage to "steal" Tim and/or Damian while the wedding was consummated? The potential for hurt! The guilt and angst! (Not asking you to write it haha, just reveling in these impossible situations you tease to crank up the anxiety lol)

Ooof, that would be terrible. (I love it.) Dick breaking down because he did it, he made the hard choice, he married himself off to a foreign king and let himself be humiliated in front of all the nobility, and for nothing.

Dick not giving a shit about Gotham anymore, because what's the point if his brothers are gone. Either falling into a deep depression (because one brother's dead, his father's missing, and his other brothers have been kidnapped, and all he was was a bystander the whole time) or plotting a way into Nanda Parbat to rescue his brothers.

Fuck Gotham, fuck the Council, and fuck Slade. Dick played by the rules, and this is what he got. He's not going to play by the rules anymore.
