Her body, yeah. But her soul? Her essence? I mean, that could be somewhere else. She could be trapped in some sort of hell dimension like Angel was, suffering eternal torment just because she saved us. And I'm not gonna let her- I'm not gonna leave her there. It's Buffy.
I was happy. Wherever I... was... I was happy. I don't understand about theology or dimensions, or... any of it, really... but I think I was in heaven. And now I'm not. I was torn out of there. Pulled out... by my friends.

Hey did you know that you can’t escape fatphobia even after death? The article talks about how these donated bodies are used for first year anatomy students to study the body, and how the 'perfect' body for that should be 170-180 pounds.

My friend @summonerdagger was looking for comic scans of Dawn using her key powers before. And now that I’m reading the comics and have gotten there myself, I thought I’d take pictures of it and upload them (but if there are more past this point, I haven’t gotten there yet):

I also love the below Dawn (and Buffy and Dawn) moment. I’m glad that she gets to prove to herself that she would be like her sister, if things were different. Though I think Dawn proved it even before this, as she almost killed herself at the end of S5 to save the world and helped Buffy with all her missions, even without powers. Buffy - “Dawn is me. The monks made her out of me.” And this really proves that:)

Edit: Here are some more.

I actually don’t know if she made the below portal or not, but I thought I’d include a picture of it just in case:

countries will be like “nooooo our birth rate is falling exponentially and it’s effecting our economy” and immigrants will be like “hey can you let us in so we can boost your economy and fill your empty jobs and raise our children here” and inevitably the country is like “the only thing worse than a large scale collapse of our population is letting foreigners live here”

it's always so fascinating and heartbreaking when a character in a story is simultaneously idolized and abused. a chosen prophet destined for martyrdom. a child prodigy forced to grow up too fast. a powerful warrior raised as nothing but a weapon. there's just something so uniquely messed up about singing someone's praises whilst destroying them.

the need to talk about the characters vs the fear that all of my analysis is just empty prose and surface level understanding
