I've been trying to find an old obey me fanfic and for the life of me, I can't find it. I don't remeber who wrote it or what the title was, but I'm pretty sure it was in tumblr, but I could be wrong. I only remember that the MC helped the demon brothers with their ruts after Diavolo/Solomon had a go and after the brothers, I think Barbatos and Simoen also seperatly joined the fun. I'd really appreciate if someone could send me the link to the fic 馃

Is it just me or does the chorus at the end of No Longer You sound an awful lot like the chorus at the end of Odysseus

The Eye
The gentle beeping of the sonar is already a backround noise as I stare at the screen, the radar going in circles as it still empty. We've lost track of the blue whale, Betty, we've been studying. We can't explain where she went. She's just... gone.
The temperature is freezin already, the sonar, equipped with a camera already way further below than blue whales actually live. And still nothing. Maybe we can at least find a corpse with her tag and be done with the search.
I sigh, shaking my head as I lean back, staring at the radar with a glare.
It picks up something.
But it's weird.
It looks like a large rocky structure. It takes up more and more of the radar the closer the sonar gets to it. What is it?
"Wait, come here." Linda looks up, letting go of the control of the sonar. She gets up and walks closer to me staring over my shoulder at the radar. I look up at another screen, moving the camera around to recognise something. Anything. Even with night vision, it seems like any other large rock or dead corals.
The deep grumble shakes my very being, freezing me in place for a moment. It came from the camera. It's so deep that it sounds like a piece of an iceberg is breaking of and falling into the water.
And yet I can't bring myself to believe that. A part of me is telling me to get out of the water, get back to shore before whatever made that sound comes any closer.
And maybe I should've listened. Maybe I should've told the captain to turn this damned boat around and bring us all back to shore so our feet could touch solid ground.
But we don't.
We stay here. And we stare at the large eye that opened before the camera. Too large to even fit in the frame properly. It's set straight on the device sent to do the diving for us, but it's like it knows we're watching.
Like it's staring straight at me.
The Eye of the Beast.

The Shadows Past The Window
The chilly night air is not held back by the walls of the house, the wood creacking in protest every now and then at the harsh hits of the winter wind.
The candle flickers in the hands of the little boy, he walks to the window to stare outside. Not much is visible due to the snow being blown around with the strong winds. Still, the little boy puts the candle on the window sill and grabs a chair to get a better look.
His breath fogs the window, his wide eyes reflecting off of the smooth surface. He looks right, and then left. Nothing is visible past the harsh winds blowing the fresh snow around and the dark shapes zooming past the window with a silent 'woosh'.
He blinks and his vision is now obscured. The winds still rush between the houses, yet he can no longer look out and stare at the weird creatures passing his window. All he can see is black.
Confusion takes over and he lifts his gaze, fear freezing him in his spot as he stares back at large white eyes. They're white voids, pupiless and emotionless. It doesn't blink, simply staring back at the boy behind the window.
It leans down, closer to the window, its hot breath fogging up half the glass. Rows of teeth glint in the gentle candlelight, stained with dark liquid as it slowly descends down to drip on the white snow.
"Nathan? Get away from the window!" The trance is broken and the boy looks behind him to stare at his mother who is now staring at the creature. When the boy turns back, it's no longer there. The only trace of it is the red blood in front of the window that dripped from its maw.
The sun is rising over the horizon, bathing the winter landscape in a warm glow. The wind died down, now a gentle breeze that pricks the skin just a bit.
People start filling the streets once again, taking care to rebuild and clean up whatever damage was done by the creatures. They have to dig another mass grave, the last one by the edge of the forest already filled up with corpses.
It's not a new sight, by now, everybody is used to losing someone so much that it hardly leaves a lasting damage on their hearts. The boy lost his friend to a fallen building, the structure simply too weak to withstand the strong winds.
Now in the protection of the sun, the children prance around the houses, getting closer to the forest.
Nathan strays from the path and gets too curious, walking past the first trees. There's tracks. Large paws, bigger than those of bears trudging through the freshly laid snow. He makes a game of jumping from one track to another. He comes to a stop.
The creature is there, staring at him from just behind a large pine.
