do you guys already have a date planned out on when you’re going to start revealing items + start selling?

We do not have any merchandise planned for sale. However, we do have a release date!

With hope of a smooth journey, we are aiming to share our finished project on the 26th of October!

We also have plans for content sneak peeks and hints of featured cryptids throughout our project, so keep your inquisitive eye out!

Sooo, funny thing......

gravity falls zine concept: fake journal. everybody likes making fake journal pages, with the formatting and the fonts and the weird stains and the codes in the margins. nobody has the stamina to create an entire fake journal. but if we combined our powers, like 50 artists/writers could fill out a whole fake journal.

All members of the crew are on board, and the Stan O’War II has officially set sail.

We are doing alright, thank you! As for your question, our mod teams are still sorting through and deciding on the applicants, but we expect to finalize the contributors list and send out the emails by May 28th!

Hello! We want to apply to the zine, but it's our first(-ish) time doing it, so we don't know everything. For example, what is a "spot artist"?

Feel free to ask, and we will answer to the best of our ability!

"Spot artist" is a position for the artist who does smaller art pieces for the zine, usually to be mixed with text and formatting.

For us specifically, the spot artist will be paired with a writer and collaborate with them to make illustrations (Full page, Spot, decorative, or otherwise) for the written story, and do not need to come it with cryptid pitches of your own (unless you also want to apply for another positions that require them.)
