If something interests me, I record it in some way. The closer I get to my 50's, the more thankful I am that I'm not in my 20's and suffering from "Millennial Angst". Although I do know a handful of 20-somethings that seem to have their shit together, I fear for a future that is led by the navel-gazers that abound on social-networking sites. In case there's any doubt, this page isn't ~for~ you, the reader, nor is it ~about~ you. It is, at times, an attempt to bring balance to the navel-gazing that I see though. Thankfully, the vast majority of what I post is for and about me...as this is my blog. If you don't like it, feel free to ignore it. NOTE: You will find a combination of text, pic (SFW), URL and other posts here. The majority of embedded links in book references point to GoodReads--an excellent forum for finding, discussing, and shelving one's book collection. I welcome discussion about any of my posts, but I have absolutely no interest in engaging with "Anonymous" users. Therefore, if you have something to say, you'll have to attach your username to it.
