Roleplay Call

I’m not picky when it comes to the muses that I’ll RP with, but I’ve been dying for some of my GSG-9 boys. If any of you out there are interested, send me a message or an ask to my inbox!

“They didn’t assign me to the welcoming committee,” she pointed out frankly, watching the Ghost situate the remainder of his gear with a swiftness that suggested he’d done it a hundred times before. “And if that’s what you came here looking for, I’ll give you a helpful hint of advice.” The woman carded her fingers through soft blonde hair, brushing the delicate tufts from her eyes. “Go home.”

Extending a free hand to the man, she managed a professional smile, and while it wasn’t the most genuine of gestures, she had lost any sort of prior hostility. “Welcome to the team, Geist. I expect you’ll be here to demonstrate why they give your team such a title.”

Marius had mentioned something about select members of the GST being stationed with Rainbow at SAS’ headquarters. Mission details hadn’t yet been leaked to either of Six’s two deployable teams, but it would take an idiot not to realize that something colossal— and possibly annihilative— was brewing just below the horizon. The ‘hush-hush’ nature of the directors didn’t help assuage the soldiers’ anxieties, leaving half of the base on edge and the other half with boiling aggravation. She was a mixture of the two, unable to sit still and quick to snap on the first person to step out of line.

“So you’re one of the elusive ‘Ghosts’, huh?” Her thick German accent betrayed the underlying bitterness of the inquiry. She partially resented the SAS for allowing yet another tactical division to join their ranks. As if it weren’t already hard enough for the individual CT Units to overcome their own differences during missions. Now they’d have to learn to encorporate soldiers out of the organization itself. Soldiers who could be a lot less reliable on the battlefield.

Twitch and Valkyrie. The corners of Monika’s lips twitched in recognition, an image of their smiling faces flashing behind her eyelids. The girls were closest post-mission over a drink and something to fill their bellies with.

“Name’s Monika. I’m with Rainbow Six from GSG-9. The rest of my team should be joining me at the shooting range before long.” She was about to make a snide remark about the boys’ foolishness, but kept it to herself.

“Not exactly a warm and friendly bunch aren’t you?” Kozak cracked a remark at Monika’s cold demeanor towards him, John felt it was uncalled for considering he was just trying to make some conversation towards her. Slipping his skull balaclava on, making sure his Cross Com worked before putting his helmet on he looked over to IQ.

“Listen, at the end of the day we’re all on the same side here, we can coexist and build a good cohesion here. I’m willing and game if you are.”

Monika could feel the weight of her P12 tucked snugly in the holster at her hip, it’s familiar presence more comforting to her than the knowledge that she was surrounded by a team of highly trained soldiers— all of whom could snipe a moving target from over 500 yards away. In her gloved hands she held a 552 Commando, the assault rifle’s barrel pointed towards the burning asphalt, her fingers tracing the smooth metal skeleton with a tender fondness.

From behind her, a man’s voice dragged her from the depths of her thoughts, bringing the woman to a sudden, yet graceful halt. She didn’t recognize him in the slightest— not the voice nor the face rang any bells— though she attributed this to the fact that she rarely paid any attention to the men and women not directly affiliated with Rainbow.

The German attempted to pick apart his statement, starting with the words and then the tone, analyzing it for any sign of hostility. “Has anyone ever told you to ignore what ‘the word around here’ is? Rumors spark fires that don’t easily die out, and the damage is unrepairable.”

Kozak held up a hand to try and ease the German down a bit. There was no hostility coming from Kozak, but just someone trying to strike up a conversation considering some of the joint ventures that were going to happen between the two.

“I meant nothing by it, I’m just saying my people ran with your people. I’m Kozak by the way, I run with Ghost Recon. Couple of your people worked with a team of ours….I think the code-names were Valkyrie and Twitch?
