[NEWS] Im Youngmin & Kim Donghyun’s Unit "MXM" officially debuts on the 27th

Brand New Boys, Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun, who were regretfully eliminated during Mnet ‘Produce 101 Season 2’, will be revealing their first debut single through online music sites on the 27th with their unit name of ‘MXM’.

Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun’s unit name, ‘MXM (BRANDNEW BOYS)’ is an acronym for ‘MIX & MATCH’ along with ‘MORE X MORE’ and holds the meaning that they will combine the charms of the two members, Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun, in order to show a new charm, and that they will continue to grow forth together. The anticipation grows as you can feel they have a different determination towards debuting even through their unit name.

After their unit debut article was released, a lot of fans’ attention went towards their activities, and you could see their amazing influence. As much as that is, you could feel that the attention towards their debut single will be heavier than that of any other rookie. It is also known that this debut single was worked on by Brand New Music’s head, Rhymer, along with all the hit producers under Brand New Music, so through Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun’s unit project, you can check through the K-POP scene once more how Brand New Music’s spectrum doesn’t localize itself within simple hip-hop, but shows how wide and strong it is.

Brand New Music stated, “Youngmin and Donghyun really prepared this album with all their heart and soul for fans who have waited. Since we know the interest of fans all too well, we will work even harder in order for those two boys’ beginning to shine even more and for those two boys’ smiles to be even brighter.”

Their debut pre-release single, which will be the start for Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun’s unit, ‘MXM’, will be released on the 27th at 6 o’clock through online music sites.
