I do not ask this out of malice but what do you do when you're a genderfluid lesbian and you want to follow an lesbian nsft blog with men dni in their bio.. do u not interact with it at all if you're a guy at a particular day. I’d say I was extremely hooked into TADC when that second episode came out and solidified what the writing was gonna be like, the fourth episode really sold me, and I think it endears me more and more with the quality of the character animation and absolutely creative visual design (especially the characters)

Absolutely understandable how the whole content farm boom caused for a lot ppl to feel in interested in it, and def there is some internet/cringe humor that for some is an acquired taste, though for me having grown up with id assume the simular internet age as Gooseworx, absolutely got and appealed to me.

There’s really good, absurd quiet moments that get a kick out of me and that attention to detail even if it’s blink and you miss it show the amount of care that went into making it.

We are so lucky to have studios like GLITCH during a time that I think more than ever is crusading to end artists with things like capitalism/AI.

Which is extra poetic, considering a major factor into the environment of the circus is the main AI, Caine, and what essentially is his purpose of curating these experiences for the players. His main function to create engaging experiences meant to be enjoyed only for it to be against their will, and terrorizing them into a mind break state of sort (Abstraction). He doesn’t realize the degree to which it’s not working like a typical AI which can forget information you tell it, misunderstand tasks, keep an abruptly inappropriate attitude even when the players are expressing concern/frustration. The way Caine is written intentionally like this and to such a great comedic degree, which will turn on us in great dramatic effect come the next episodes when he reaches his breaking point, is masterful.

It’s stated already that a big influence of TADC is ‘I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream’, so we can expect the similar parallels to show up more and more as the final episodes roll in which is sooo exciting honestly.

Anyway yeah so low-key Digital Circus is peak so far.
