Made this, after getting inspired with everyone else’s dragons ! Always kind of wanted one, but have yet to actually put effort into getting one- and making this scry is the first step : )

But here’s a dragon I appreciate a lot, got me back into drawing dragons, and made me realize how much i love obelisks ! I actually have yet to decide what name to give him, can’t commit to one just yet…

Also- I haven’t played in nearly 8 years or so, finally getting back into it- and I kind of wish the site had changed some formatting of things so it Could be a possibility… Can’t do much, but i was genuinely surprised that some stuff was still the same as 8 years ago lol

I kind of wish flightrising had more music for the site? I know the vibes are more casual sort of deal, but i wonder what genres the game would explore musically wise

What do any of you fr players think? What type of music do you think flight rising would have ? Im leaning towards like; Pokémon mystery dungeon explorers of sky, just due to the nostalgia factor of the formatting for the music itself.

Noooooo ! Worst mistake of my fr career (so far)!

Finally coming around to doing my own personal geneing and projects on my dragons (instead of just buying new ones lol), thought I had just gotten the two primary and secondary genes I needed for my progenitors set up…

But then I double checked my scrolls before using them and Uh-

I had just snatched it up because i was periodically checking the marketplace this week and didn’t even double check.. its been messy lately

And I bought it at full price, too 🥺

I know a lot of people have lore and stories for their dergs, and I’m trying to analyze mine and figure out what exactly they get up to and do.. soooo;

If your dragons have jobs, what exactly do they do ? And if you haven’t thought about it yet, which dragons Would have jobs and who would just laze around hehe

I honestly think the best advice I’ve ever been told when it comes to drawing, and it especially helps when im trying to warm up or just having difficulty drawing-

Is draw light, messy, fast. Some artists may say “have confident lines” and to me, doing things light, messy, and fast in longer strokes helps me out- even if its short strokes, the method of just going for it in that way kinda tricks my mind into not thinking about overthinking stuff- but it makes me think about the technicality and techniques im using, it also encourages me to experiment with different brushes and seeing how it feels and looks.

It sounds cheesy; but genuinely just have fun with it, be goofy, because thats the best way to make progress and takes a lot of weight off your shoulders of How art should look™️ and How you go about doing it.

Another thing entirely could be just copying/even tracing certain art styles you like, then adding your own twist to it to practice. But a method that helped me out the most was using abstract methods of making art, like forcing myself to only use shapes to create and object, experimenting with color theory and seeing what interests you most- just finding anything that makes you say “oh, i really want to create” when you see or try it.

hello friends and digital artists do you have any tips other than practice to help get more confident in like. the actual movement of the pen on a drawing tablet. my lines look Vastly better when im drawing faster and with more confidence but it is...difficult. is that what warm ups are for? it is sometimes a problem of me holding my tablet at an awkward angle (makes me wish i was drawing right onto a screen tbh) but not always. also i know sometimes practice really just is the answer but just in case theres some secret to it ya know

It’s been years since I’ve been on fr, so my whole lair and set up is a mess… past me didn’t do present me any favors

One of those, is the bulk buying practically of banescales, and thus a decent amount of banescale babs i just hatched

Starting on the left, the 2 have common eyes, then unusual, uncommon, and rare

I’m trying to find these guys good homes, feel bad if they just get exalted or something, But this is merely a test post as I still need to sift thru all the first gen banescales and decide if I want to keep any of them.,, Eitherway I’m up to hearing offers, even if i already have a flimsy price point in my head

one of the dumb things i like about flight rising is that you can just dissolve familiars for alchemy ingredients. like what the fuck. some nice centaur comes out of the woods like “I Have Seen Your Deeds And I Submit Myself To Your Clan To Learn About You” and youre just like fantastic. get in the cauldron

I also really enjoy the very leftmost design ! I like the blend of a rabbit/elephant type deal- i just honestly want more freaky looking dragons tbh

we have ONE super snoot guy and it’s only one pose.

I was a dragon breed that has a super long snout! A super tall snout! Maybe a trunk! Maybe a snorkel nose!

So, I found the password to my 3 year old account on Flight rising finally. I’m also deciding on getting rid of almost every dragon in my lair to start fresh. Mirzam on the front page and past her are all for sale, including mirzam herself. Apparel and familiars are free, while hatchlings can be 100-50. You can decide your own amount for buying dragons but the amount ive mainly used is 5000 for adult dragons.
