immediately walking in you are given a bright vibe thanks to the cute decor and a pastel diner theme. the tables were cramped together but the seats were super comfy so that really made up for the lack of space.

the breakfast sandwich, mine made with bacon and a sunny side up egg, was an easy 10/10 especially when paired with a side of fries. i personally would next time do scrambled eggs because the sunny side up egg yolk soaked into the bread too much and was way too messy for an already complicated sandwich. the fries are probably the best fries i’ve had in my entire life, i would go back just for the fries and a mimosa.

the chicken potato waffle iron latke was my bfs pick. the latke was crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside, and when paired with the encrusted chicken and baked apples it was a melody of textures and strong, juicy flavors. he was in heaven. the syrup sauce they had drizzled all over the meal was sweet and a “dollop” of sour cream was a surprisingly welcomed pallet cleanser.
i’d love to come back with my boy and go to the other location so we can try all the amazing meals!

hawkers asian street food
dallas, tx. 10/10

Sichuan dan dan (left) and yaki udon (right)
the sichuan dan dan noodles were surprisingly sweet and spicy at the same time; the yaki udon was saucy and refreshing, a meal you could enjoy anytime. both meals will fill you up and leave you craving more !

these scallions were sooo fresh and juicy, added a refreshing twist to the pallet.
